Driving to work today n they were on about fake people and and made the comment I'm more fake that a boob job and it really bothered me. Society frowns upon it and it makes me feel like I should feel guilty like I should be made to feel like some kind of fraud?  I would love to have even just be a full b or c cup naturally but I wasn't, I had next to no tissue and droopy hanging sacs.  My 83 yr Grandma still has better boobs than I had. (she showed me lol and fully supports my decision). Yet society judges you for it. Bugs me

everyone is different and entitled to their own opinions.

unfortunatel society in general seem somewhat prejudiced against it, but you know what, it's not for them to decide what's best for you.

if you're feel happy, then you shouldn't be made to feel bad about that by others!

those who scorn are usually trying to compensate anyway, so feel sorry for them and be proud of yourself xx

It's almost as if, everyone likes to prejudice and if it's socially acceptable to, then they jump on the band wagon and persecute. If a man decides to go thro cosmetic and hormone therapy to change gender she is then protected by law from discrimination.  but if a women should feel that unhappy about her appearance that she would pay to risk surgery then that's somehow seen as wrong and it's fine to call her fake?  Plastic? I feel more needs to be done to protect augmented women from the harsh and often ignorant opinions of others.

Yep like all the no make up selfies - isn't that fake?  I mean my god makeup is a wonderful thing lol.  I think as a vulnerable diversity group we are judged unfairly and it's wrong.  My friend has a reduction, that ok, yet augmentation isn't? Sorry rant over,  just don't feel I should apologise to society

Society will always fear the unknown. They fear for us, and judge us and look down their noses at us because they haven't taken the time to look at all the facts. Its the same for any type of surgery, because they are ignorant. But I don't think we can compare it in any way to a hate crime like racism or homophobia.

It does hurt to be judged in this way, but for the most part its due to ignorance and jealousy. The women saying this still paint their nails, colour their hair, tan their skin...is that really any different? So we take the higher ground, laugh at them for their stupidity, and look fabulous doing it!

It always surprises me how people don't get bored of calling people who've had boob jobs "fake" or "plastic". Bore off.
