Paying @ Spire
I've got my second consultation next week (both my consultations are with Spire, but different surgeons and hospitals), so I'm hoping to book my surgery at the end of next week for late June/early July. Does anyone know when you have to pay and how much? Like do you have to pay everything when you book or can you put down a deposit and then pay the rest off between booking and your surgery date? I'm paying out of my own money rather than doing finance, but don't have all of it yet, and now panicking that they're not going to let me boook!

Re: Paying @ Spire
Usually it's a deposit and then pay the rest in full a couple of weeks before surgery date they all vary slightly. I payed a 250 deposit then the rest two weeks before op x

Re: Paying @ Spire
I cant speak for Spire, but it should normally be a deposit (250+) followed by full remaining balance 7-21days before surgery. Give them a call and double check.

Hi babe.... You don't have to put a deposit down and I paid one week before surgery. If you're paying cash then I'd advise you to ring you're bank one working day before you withdraw funds because they may not have all of the money on site. That's what I had to do. Then I just went into the hospital and paid cash. X

I went with Spire at their Reading hopsital. booked 2 months in advance & didn't pay a deposit just paid by card on the morning of op. Best to ring up and double check as diff spire hospitals might be different. X

Hey,
I went with nuffield and they didn't ask me for a deposit even when I rang and booked my date for surgery -just paid thenfull amount 10 days before hand.
I had asked if they wanted a deposit but they said no.

Re: Paying @ Spire
I went with a Spire hospital paid £100 for my consultation and could pay as late as morning of op for my surgery but paid it the week before over the phone using my debit card as didn't want to have any added worries on morning of op. XXX

Re: Paying @ Spire
Hi, I had a consult @ Spire Reading with Anthony Armstrong who I really liked but they've quoted me £5300 which seems like a lot!
I know he operates from a few other hospitals, does that amount sound right to the ladies who went with Spire Reading?
I've not seen many mentions of him on this forum so any info appreciated!
xx

I've got my ba in 2 weeks at spire tunbridge wells and haven't paid anything yet! I asked last week how I needed to pay the £250 deposit but they said don't worry as the date is so close

Purple123 was that quote just for BA with Allergan implants? It's a lot more than what I paid but I had him last June (at Spire Dunedin Reading). so happy with results and care from Spire. Any questions let me know x

Re: Paying @ Spire
I'm spire in Portsmouth and mine is more than £1000 cheaper than that. Surely there can't be that much difference?

Re: Paying @ Spire
There are big differences even within spire, mostly dependent on the surgeon. Also hospital costs vary hospital to hospital within the same county (even for the same brand), let alone across the country. Hard to compare. Mine is 1k more expensive but unfortunately he was the surgeon i trusted most!

Re: Paying @ Spire
Ladies, I am looking at Spire Cheshire and having Dr Douglas McGeorge. Do they offer payment plans/finance? Or does it have to be a one off payment? Thanks in advance.
