Had my consultation with Douglas McGeorge today, he's so nice! He recommended 270cc anatomicals to take me to a natural looking size that will balance me out. Currently a 32a/30b though and I'm a bit worried that this is going to be too small? Also, he said not to get a post-surgical bra, and to just wear a crop top? Has anyone else been told this? I know he's a really good surgeon so sure he's right, but just wasn't what I was expecting lol!

Hrs a very reputable surgeon, and what he's suggested for you sounds perfect for you, if you want to be balanced out as your very slim with little body fat judging by your avi!

What did you say you were hoping to achieve with your ba? And did you show him any pictures of the look you wanted. ?

Not all ladies have to wear a sports bra after depending on YOUR body and what YOURE having the aftercare will be tailored to. YOU.
Not being in a sports bra will help the implants drop quicker.

If you're still unsure of the size he's offered maybe have another consulation with him taking pics along with you I'd you hadn't already .
Just bear in mind that may be the biggest you can have first time round. X

Can't really top what MrsB has said there. Have you tried some rice boobs? Not an exact science, but it will give you a good idea of sizing. Every girl is different, so a smaller volume will have a bigger effect on a slight frame.

270 will be a great size on your frame. I was torn between 320 and 270. I only went for 320 because I did have a little breast tissue to start and wanted to be at least a D.  I've seen other  girls with 270/280 and theirs look the sane as mine if not bigger. Kdee on here is a great example she had similar size and hers are amazing xxx

Agree if your surgeon knows what you want I'd definitely stick with the size they say. It's just a number and is different on everyone. My surgeon decided on my size from what I shared with him. He only told me the size he was putting in because I asked him. This might have been a lot to do with the shape of my chest but obviously they been there and done it 100s of times so have a much better idea. X

I've been told I don't need to get a post surgical bra either. I had to double check as was about to order a Macom. I have to take a sports bra with me to wear for the first few days then he said I don't need to wear anything. X

Guys, you're amazing, thanks for the reassurance! Spent all of today wearing 250cc rice boobs (guess since I'm having unders they'll look a bit smaller than 270?) and checking out the stats page, and I'm not panicking so much now! I literally just said that I wanted to be balanced out cos I'm currently a size 10ish on bottom and about a 6 on top, with pretty much nothing!

I have a consultation with Mrs Kat in 4 weeks though, so might see what she gets me to try on, and see Mr McGeorge again if i'm still unsure about sizes afterwards.

He said he'd lower the crease too, so I guess that maybe explains having a less supportive bra, so it can drop into place?

Hey,

Even though my first consultation was may last year with my consultant surgeon, I told him the look I wanted( natural so to keep people guessing has she hasn't she)) and he suggested the size of implant for me (360cc moderate profile). I went for another consultation in july 2013 decide on sizes as thought 360 seemed small to me.

On op day he tok four different sizes into theatre to try (300, 330, 360 and 390) he tried all four then settled on the ones he had suggested to start with the 360.

I am happy with them it's taken me from a 32b/c to a 30g!!! Which he was surprised at as the volume of implant should've only take  me to an E cup but I'm not complaining.

My advice would be to go see your first surgeon again and take some pictures of the kind of look you're after as your idea of natural looking may not be the surgeons
