2nd Consultation with Transform - Questions!!!

Well I had another consultation with Transform today and went over a few things that I was worried about. I met Mr Kuna again and we discussed size - at the 1st consultation he said the biggest size he would recommend for me was a 380cc but I was worried that this might not be big enough so I took in lots of pics from Nuts magazine and he said if this is the look/size I wanted that he would put in 410cc. Now thinking about it I'm not sure if this will be too big?!

At another consulation I tried both implants in my bra and both myself and the surgeon thought 410 was too big and 380 was just right for me, think I just got a bit greedy?! So not sure what size to go 4 now?

He also said I would need unders as I am quite slim and if they were overs u would b able to see the outline of the implant - victoria beckham style ha! But the last surgeon said overs so now I'm confused as to why such different opinions? Mr Kuna obviously explained why unders but I would like some opinions from you girls who know more about implants than me!!

Not sure if it's relevant but I'm 5ft 6, 9st and currently wearing a 32 B or C bra, I've breastfed 2 children and used to be a DD so a little saggy!

hey hun Im a little shorter than you at 5'2 but weight the same I was a 34b/c (depending on bra I was a 24dd before breast feeding. I had 410 overs last week and although I thought at first they where too big they are now growing on me lol....

Sweetie, your surgeon had a much better idea 'seeing' what you wanted from your results with the benefit of the pics you brought... I know the jump may sound like alot, but if that's what is needed to achieve 'the look' you want isn't that what's most important?

I think you're going to be fine babe, your surgeon now knows EXACTLY what you want, you can always request that he takes a couple of sizes with him into theatre to get as close to the look you're after as possible. You've done everything you can to help your surgeon to know what you're wanting from this op, so leave it up to them now babe to achieve that in theatre, take the pics in with you again on the day of surgery and you'll be just fine. xx

Thanks Cookie, I was a bit worried I might have got carried away with the glamour girl/model look! It doesn't seem it but it's a hard decision 2 make! My partner said that I'm more likely to complain if they're too small rather than if they're too big!! x

i understand why u wud feel confused when one surgeon says unders and one overs !! i was similar to you, 5ft6 size10 and 34c boobs (used to be a dd, but lost a little weight) and they were quite saggy. Anyway, the surgeon said he could easily fit in 460cc.
good luck with it, and let us know what u end up having!!

I had overs and I didn't have much tissue there. I had 340s though, so not as big as the implant you want, which is probably why he's suggested unders for you. I reckon if you were to go smaller (not saying you should do this btw) then he might consider overs.

But... if he's happy giving you the larger implants and doesn't think you'll get rippling or any other problems then go for it!

Yes it is confusin & I don't understand lol?! Which will have the better result? Why did u av overs? Cud u choose? xx

He said unders even when I was havin the smaller implant? Did you choose overs? xx

If you have very little breast tissue or body fat babe the implant will be visible under the skin as your surgeon said.

There's also a pinch test surgeons use too, if you can pinch 2cm or more
of skin thickness on the breast then overs should be OK.

Don't choose what's right for other women, choose with the help of your surgeon the placement that's right for you and if you felt most comfortable with Mr Kuna and his surgery plan for you, forget what the other surgeon said babe and go with what feels tight for you hun. xx

I wanted overs as I preferred the look of them, but would have had unders if my surgeon said I needed them. As it happens every surgeon I saw (I think I saw about four or five) said I could have overs or unders, so I made my choice.

I'm just worried about what is right for me, with two different opinions I'm not sure which is best? Mr Kuna said that as I am very slim I need unders, he did the pinch test at the 1st consultation. But then the 2nd surgeon I seen said that I would need overs. I can't remember why he said but I'm sure it was because of the breast tissue (I used to be a DD and now have a saggy C). So just concerned really about what would be best. Will it make a big difference? I just don't want things 2 go wrong - as I'm sure any1 who is havin surgery doesn't :o(

That is a difficult one, does the one who wants to do unders want to do a lift as well? I assume you are worried about the snoopy look with unders? It sounds like you may have the breast tissue there for overs to be honest. But I'm not a surgeon, and it's completely your decision.

If you're very concerned babe, this is something you really should be discussing with your surgeon before your op babe.

You need to feel 100% positive and if your not, don't be shy of going back to see your surgeon again, you can address the issues, explain your fears and see how your surgeon then feels..

If you've reduced in breast size, unless the you have great elasticity in your skin, which you may well have, then there will be some sagging...

Is there is a sag to your breast? If there is then like misf1, from the info we've picked up along the way, then overs does sound like the best placement...

But I haven't 'seen' you nor am I the experpert, your surgeon is babe and they need to assess your breasts and decide based on their consultation after seeing you. xx

I'm just worried as it seems that most of the ppl who have unders were quite small or flatchested to start with?! I don't really feel that I am, I'm a (small?) C but I feel they're quite saggy! No he doesn't want to do a lift, he said it's borderline but doesn't feel I need it at the moment, the other surgeon said the same.

I did explain to him the other surgeon had suggested overs but he was quite adamant that I needed unders with bein slim and the implant would b 2 visible etc. The PC also mentioned thin skin, I don't mean to keep goin on about it but the more I come on this site and the more research I do the more questions I have lol!! Like I said before, I feel that they are saggy but I don't know if they're bad enough for the unders to look wrong, if that makes sense?! xx

If it is boarderline then you need to check with the surgeon who wants to do unders if they would re op and do a lift for free if for some reason they did not turn out well and you had the excess skin. You might be perfectly fine with unders, but it would be best to check with the surgeon and have it in writting.

Thank you! I've already e-mailed my PC about aftercare but she's away
until the 31st so will send her another and ask about this and maybe ask to see
the surgeon again. I've noticed that you had the 410cc, do they feel/look a good size for you? I see that you're a little smaller than me but from what I can see they look a good size lol!

I have also been looking at LOTS of pics on the internet of unders and have found this pic which I feel are similar to mine, although they are smaller but she has unders and has had a 397cc implant in. I think they look good! I have became rather obsessed with looking at pics of boob jobs haha!!

That's a good idea hun, never be afraid to ask them as many questions as you want, you need to be sure of what you are getting. Yes I have found them to be a great size for me, they are exactly what I asked for and I couldn't be happier with them.
