Polyurethane pure implants
Has anyone had pure implants as had a problem with cc,if so did this sort the problem?
I ask this as had cc in my left breast after each surgery and am wondering if this could be my solution before I consider removal of both.
Many thanks

Re: Polyurethane pure implants
There are no definitive guarantees with ANY implant Daisy, but of all the implants, these have the lowest CC rate.
If you never want to go through CC again, then maybe an explant is right for you, but if you feel willing to take one more chance on a very good quality implant with the lowest rate of them all then this is the way to go hun....
Its a choice only you can make Daisy and I'm sure the one you choose will be the absolute right one for you. Xx xx

Thanks thanks for your reply Cooke, just need to hear that others have had cc more than once and then after having the pure been o.k, that would make me feel more hope, as you said I know there are no guarantees .xx

Re: Polyurethane pure implants
Even if you did find someone who has gone through the same as yourself and you have been through a terrible lot Daisy so its totally understandable that you're wanting to find a lifeline to make it all OK, but with breast implants there will never be any certainty. You may find the girl that meets your exact criteria....and then tomorrow she may have CC.
CC is a terrible thing, because there is no time limits for you to get in that 'safe place' from it. The risk will be there no matter the implant from the day its implanted to the day its explanted.
If you really want to keep your boobs hun, the only way you'll get through it is if you get your head into that mindset of acknowledging risk and then enjoying your boobs for the time you've had them.
If it helps the percentage of CC in polyeurothanes is only 1% in comparison to 20% in standard implants. Xx

Re: Polyurethane pure implants
CC is a huge worry of mine as cookie said it can come anytime and I had Grade III so I just worry that I can get it back, so far so good, but im still having problems with my muscles and looking at another reop to have my implants changed to overs

I've just had these implants yesterday, I was told they have a very low rate of cc as they are more adhesive. I still think if it's gonn happen it will, fingers crossed for everyone it doesn't xx

Thanks tinkerbell and Dayzeee and I hope all remains well for you.
I have had 4 ba's in the past 4 years as very soon after surgery I got cc in leftie, just want a pair of painless boobies! That' why it would be great to hear if anyone else's body had done this each time and then after having polyurethane that it had been o.k?
