Bit of a (very) last-minute panic
So I'm just sat in bed and getting really flipping worried about surgery tomorrow (Wednesday)... It's weird because I've been fine up until now and all of a sudden I don't know if I can do it :( I'm most worried about being given the GA through a needle (I hate them) and the idea of being cut open I want to vom! Gonna try and get some sleep and see if it helps but right now I'm about 80% sure I'm making the wrong decision getting it done :( I want boobs but I'm too scared of the surgery... Which is silly because I've had GA before and it wasn't bad!? WHY DO I FREAK OUT NOW?! xxx

U need to relax. Everything will be absolutely fine. You're probably having a freak out now because its got to close to your BA day and its a life changing op. You can do it, so please stop doubting yourself.
Good luck tomorrow xx

Re: Bit of a (very) last-minute panic
Thanks guys, feeling a bit better after a sleep but not by much :S I'm hoping I'll be too tired to not go tomorrow morning (have to be up about 5) and that my surgery will be one of the earlier ones.
Do they have a cream, Tink?! why did no one tell me this?!

I was so nervous about the needle thing too, please don't think about it or hype yourself up about it - it's totally worth it imo.
I got special cream put on the back of my hand - just let them know asap because it needs a while to work, so need it put on in advance of your actually time slot. xx

It's common for me to pass out at the sight of needles so hopefully I'll end up not needing GA anyway ;P I think I'll ask for the cream... Is it just called numbing cream? xxx

I think you're right, Moomin... I've wanted this for so long and I've got a bookmarks folder full of amazing bras and bikinis and I'll be annoyed with myself later on if I deny myself them!! I'll just need to suck it up and get on with it xxx

Re: Bit of a (very) last-minute panic
You will be fun hunni I had huge doubts the couple of days leading upto it even questioned if I wanted the boobs and I have wanted it for years! I hated the idea of the GA too as I had never had one before, I think I got myself so worked up I was shattered on op day the three hour drive and no caffeine probably didn't help but when I woke up I felt so silly for all the concerns I had! I felt good but sore when I woke up so the lovely nurse gave me a good dose of morphine ha. It will be so worth it good luck xx

Re: Bit of a (very) last-minute panic
Thanks, Sahara and Galeforce :) I'm trying to not focus on it too much and doing an essay which is due in Friday but ideally I'd like to get done today in case I'm not feeling up to it after the op... I hope I get drugged up on something before the drive home because I'm a day case and my mum's not the smoothest of drivers haha :P xxx

Re: Bit of a (very) last-minute panic
You are welcome oh and what you said about being cut open it almost feels to me like they magic'd in as I have not seen mine yet and havent felt any irritation from my incisions, hope that makes you feel a lil better about it xx

Re: Bit of a (very) last-minute panic
I hope one day magic-ed in boobs will be a thing!! I think I'm most worried about the incisions: I don't like the idea of them opening up and an implant falling out :L. XXX
