Well, I'm just off to spire in about 10 mins for my 7 day check. I really hope I get the go ahead to have a shower :-) my swelling seems to have disappeared over night (boobs and tummy), and my jeans are no longer tight, hurray!!!! Most of my bruising has gone too, I'm so glad I took the arnica tablets and have been using arnica cream. Maddimoo, do you have your check today too? I can't believe this time last week I was just going down to theatre!!!! One happy lady :-) xx

Had a look at my incisions and can't believe how neat they are, unfortunately didn't get a pic of them for my picturetrail though. I can have a shower too :-) x

hi hun, yes had my check today & got the go ahead for a shower! so excited  dance . been told all healing well & was quite suprised how small the scars are to put such big implants in!!!! Was so nice to get out the house too -mcdonalds has never been so appealing xx

They gave me dressings to put 'over' my new dressings when I'm in the shower and take off after, so no incision pics for me until next week!

So glad you can have a shower too Hun. 

I was given new dressings to change mine after a shower which is nice so I can see my incisions each time and how they change. Mine are really scabbed up at the moment. Xx

Yes Hun, shallow baths to keep clean and lots of baby wipes! Hair washing for me was ok from day 4 or 5 or tou could get a friend or partner to do it or book in at a salon for wash and blow dry which was what I had planned but didn't need to in the end. Xx

Yes, shallow baths- I've been longing for a shower! My bestie came to wash my hair for me about 3 times and I used dry shampoo x

Hi, babe!! I'm really glad your checkup went well and you're allowed a shallow bath now! I bet you're really pleased that your swelling has disappeared from your boobs and tummy too! That's really good news :) Eeeek, you're finally on your way to having a normal body again and bigger, more natural boobies!!

Surgeons are so different. I couldn't shower till day 16!
