Re: Current bra size
I was a 30B and currently a 30dd. But haven't dropped/fluffed yet so could end up bigger.
I think the size letter isn't as important as to the way they look to u xx

Re: Current bra size
Your band size will be exactly what you measure, so a 34. Then lean forwards and measure the fullest part (is that the 39?) Take the difference and count up the alphabet. So 34>39=5=DD. Of course, this isn't an exact science, and the best thing to do is go and get properly measured in a Bravissimo or Boux Avenue or something. You'll come out differently for different shapes and styles.

But when I do this I come put as a 30 but a 32 is sometimes too tight even if I go up a cup?! Get my bras from marks ans spencer mostly x

Re: Current bra size
How is it too tight? Is it constricting your breathing? Your band is meant to be tight, as this is where all of the support is coming from. If 'its too tight' because its leaving red marks, that's normal. I always thought the 32 was too tight for me, and was most comfortable in a 36, but it was all wrong. When you get fitted properly, you'll be amazed at how much more comfortable it is overall. And you soon get used to the band.

Re: Current bra size
I'd agree with a 34DD or maybe even a 36D in some stores. Each bra tends to be made slightly differently so some 34's may be a bit snug.
I'd say if you measure around a 30 back sometimes again they can be a bit snug, so a 32 would be the best option. As long as it is giving you support under the band it should be ok. Best thing to do is do place 2 fingers under the band. If you can do it then the bra is ok. If its a real struggle the band is too tight, if you could fit more than 2 then its far to big and could cause you shoulder and back pain.

Re: Current bra size
I measure 29inch so would be a 30 band but marks and Spencer 32inch feels really tight on me so I think they come up small x

Re: Current bra size
Yeah could be why. I just re measured and I'm 29 so assuming a 30 band. In a 32 I get red marks that can get quite sore. So will have to see after BA how painful a 30 is. X

Re: Current bra size
I just re measured again and came out at a 30c. Makes sense as I wearing a 32b at the mo. Will try one on if see any.
Wow boney that's impressive but could be if u are a c in the wrong size band. A 28 E is very different to a 34E xxx

Re: Current bra size
I've measured my band now and I'm 27..... I used to be a DD, lost over 3 stone, so actually I'm guessing that I'm a C (boobs have disappeared somewhere? ha) so I'm possibly not and could be something else. It's my cup I'm not sure about!! Xx
