Areole help after surgery!
Hi girls.
I had my surgery last thurs (uplift and enlargement) and had my dressing changed yesterday due to an allergy I had with the dressing. Anyway, when the dressings were off it looked like I had no areole? My nipples are swollen but id still have expected to have seen a surround? Can anyone please help put my mind at rest? Xx

Hiya,
You will still have areola probably just with stitches and swelling etc making it difficult to get a proper look so try not too worry. Next dressing change make sure you are given time to have a good look and ask questions if concerned about anything or if there's anything you are unsure off. XXX

Re: Areole help after surgery!
Hi Lottie
I totally freaked out the first time I saw my Areola after the surgery. It was tiny and diamond shaped, not round! But nearly eight weeks on it is looking a lot better. They put deep internal stitches in that pull the nipple and areola into the right position as it heals, don't worry, your surgeon will have known exactly what to do to get the right result xx
