La Senza measurements
Hey girls.. I went for my first measurement on Saturday at La Senza and I am 32E... I had to buy a 32DD though as no 32e and it's too small in cup.. Are La Senza quite accurate.. 32 band perfect actually and always thought I was a 34... Really happy about that because I think when you're living in sports bras it's easy to feel deflated about the size.. Still not happy overall with Leftie still sitting in a world of its own however seeing PS on Thursday... Hopefully he is going to agree to revision xx

Re: La Senza measurements
I didn't find La senza that great at measuring, Bravissimo I found to the best at measuring/fitting they really know their stuff.
From your avi I think you look bigger, is there a Bravissamo near you?
Good luck with your appointment with your surgeon, let us know how it goes. XXX

Re: La Senza measurements
La senza are awful, they don't stock anything above a DD anymore.
As mirren suggests go to a bravissimo. They expert fitters and really take they're time with you and make sure you get fitted in tot eh correct bra size and shape .
If not a bravissimo then a boux avenue.

Re: La Senza measurements
Even though La Senza don't have the best reputation for measuring I just wanted to say congratulations for being measured at a 32E! I'm sure if you get measured at Bravissimo you will be even bigger haha-- as they tend to measure you bigger than other places :):)
I hope you're okay and I hope you get your leftie seen to and sorted out. I'm sure it will adjust to normal!
Good luck and congratulations! Fab avi by the way!xxx

Re: La Senza measurements
Hi hun, I thought ALWAYS I was a 34.... John Lewis measured me at 32 E.
They were FAB, took their time, helped me with styles etc, they knew exactly what they were talking about, very helpful and knowledgeable too.

It's because they actaully fit you in to the bra, no tape measure is used so your back is measured correctly and the cup also fitted.
Bravissimo don't measure bigger Hun, they fit you properly giving you your correct bra size .

Hi congrats on being measured at 32E, it was Bravissimo in Glasgow I got fitted at and I thought they were really good and knew their stuff, although you might need to book your appointment in advance.

Re: La Senza measurements
La Senza are notoriously bad. I'd definitely recommend getting to a Bravissmo or Boux to be properly fitted.
I know your avi was early, and there's still time for you to fluff, but if I'm honest, they look bigger than mine, and Im in 32DD/E. Well worth getting a proper fitting.

Re: La Senza measurements
Hi, DEF go to Bravissimo, i had my first measurement 6 weeks post-op last Wed straight after seeing my surgeon and the assistant was so lovely. She just looked at my boobs, said 30f and brought a few bras which all fitted like a dream. She said she uses an underwire plunge bra as first one to check size and was v gentle and professional. She totally understood about the changes that occur with time re BA boobs. Also said its usual to measure a little bigger in the cup with underwired plunge ie i was a 30ff but 30f in the 2 soft cup bras i bought. I went back on Sat and bought a non-wired t-shirt bra, shock absorber sports bra and 2 secret support tops for bed. Bye bye Macoms! xxDi

Re: La Senza measurements
La senza measured me at a 34d when I was measured a day before in bravissimo at a 28/30 e/f but I have gone up in the band to a 32, again measured at bravissimo as I have gained weight, so im a 32 e/f xx
