Bra measurements Empty Bra measurements

I got fitted as a 32"band in Bravissimo and bought my first wired bra from there. As the shop isn't local I have bought a couple of other bras (same size) from debenhams and one from BHS. I checked the fit and they seem ok. However the Bravissimo is the most comfortable as by the end of the day I can feel the other bras.

Decided to compare them and noticed that the band length on the Bravissimo bra is about 2" longer than the others!! So does this mean I am only a 32 band in Bravissimo and should wear 34 in the other shops. Why can't bra manufacturers make them to a standard size?!?!?!

Anyone else noticed a difference?

Hi huni x yeah I have to go up a band size in some places! I'm a 30 in bravissimo and a 30 in some other shops. But some I have to go up to a 32! I have found it best to get measured everywhere, and make a not of the size and in what shop.
