Re: April Buddies
Oh no, that wasn't the nicest thing she could have said whether she meant it personally or not. Don't worry about that babe, as long as YOU will feel comfortable whilst you're on holiday then that's is all matters. I haven't told my husbands parents, I'm sure if I did I'd get called a lot more than silly, ha. I am about to burst with excitement haha I just can't wait! Going to have the best summer ever this year!! Xx

Re: April Buddies
Not that it's any of there business babe, but if it has unsettled you her saying you're 'silly' then maybe sit down with them, explain how you feel and how having a BA will make you much more confident, etc. Maybe just explain that you're not having a boob job to look like a page 3 model you're having a boob job to make YOU feel more comfortable with your self. When you mention boob job to people they always imagine big massive boobs don't they..............Xx

Re: April Buddies
I'll definitely feel the most confident I ever have in a bikini but that's because I'll look good! I'll feel a bit awkward around his mum but that's 1000x better than feeling insecure about myself. I could sit down with them I suppose but I won't be seeing them for a good month or so and by that time my whole boyfriend's extended family will know!! I'm not too bothered just a bit hurt that they can't see through the stigmatism of what getting a boob job means :S xxx

Re: April Buddies
Or maybe just get your boyfriend to explain to them....(not that it's any of the business though babe, so don't feel like you've got to explain your self!)
Yeah you're right babe just ignorance on their behalf, as long as you're going to feel fabulous in a bikini that's all that matters! Not long now only 23 days for you haha!! Hope you're mums hurrying up with your shopping list xx

You're right, it's none of their business! The only reason I told them was because I didn't want them to be in shock during the holiday haha! Mum's bought all my stuff yep ;) that's what she's for!! That and to look after me for about 4 weeks post-op :P xxx

Re: April Buddies
Great honey, they'll look ace!
Sorry to hear about your mum not been so supportive. Do you have any other family members or friends that are supporting you through your journey? Hopefully your mum will come round from thinking they will look “cheap!”. Don't let this spoil your experience though, babe. It's supposed to be a super exciting time for you!!!! Best of luck babe! Xx

Re: April Buddies
:) cheers. Yes have super supportive boyfriend we live together do he'll be my main nurse along with his wonderful nan who lives next door. I think she'll come round to if once they're fluffed and settled and she sees I had them done in proportion to my body and to look natural. But initially I don't want her visiting me because I'll be in pain and she'll be so irritating lol. Mothers hey!

Re: April Buddies
So glad you've got a supportive boyfriend babe, great to know you'll have someone at home to help you too. Yeah, I'm sure she will come round once she sees they aren't just two round implants stuck on your chest - maybe what she's imagining? Anyway 3rd April isn't too far away so not long to wait.... Super exciting for you babe! Xx

Re: April Buddies
Tillex, I think in some way age might find it threatening, having this young, hot thing with big boobs to stand next to on the beach! You will look sce and your eon mum is behind u so who cares! Lol xxxx

Haha I hope you're right rachel! His mum has got ginormous boobs herself so jealousy isn't an issue as such! Just incase I'll make sure to display my new additions in various gorgeous/expensive bikinis ;) xxx

With the way the weather's going, they're more than likely to get an outing in the UK! You're only a few days after me I see and you're getting anatomicals too :) What made you want to go for those opposed to round? xxx

Re: April Buddies
I'm quite skinny with little breast tissue and have neutrally ski slope boobs. I'm a teacher so don't want obvious fake boobs either- although I do love that look on others I've sentence. Just want as natural as possible. I'm a bit scared of the torpedo mango look tho, where the slope over instead of ski slope if u know what I mean. Why did u choose them? Xx

Re: April Buddies
Ah I get you! I'm quite broad and not 'large' as such but I'm a 10/12 on top but I have literally no breast tissue to speak of :( I would have preferred round because I like the look of them but they'd look 'stuck on' which really wouldn't suit me. I'm still happy about anatomicals though! I'm getting them under the muscle because I have so little breast tissue. I know what you mean about the torpedo look haha! It's a worry of mine too but even if that were to happen, it'd be so much better than what I have now! xxx
