12 more weeks..
..In these beautiful sports bras! Been to the hospital again today, and my scars are finally behaving and no longer need a dressing on them. I've got to put some soft gauze over as a cushioning against the bra, and in a few days start the micropore tape over the scars again. I was then told to make my check up appointment to see my surgeon in 3 months. So that's an extra 5 weeks than i thought i'd have! Booo! Haha i'd rather air on the side of caution, but still! Naughty incisions! Aha never mind! Sorry had to have a little moan! xxx

Aww bless you, babe!! That's a long time to be in your sports bras! You must be sick of it haha :(
I know it's so frustrating when all you want to do is be in glamorous underwired bras but it's better to be safe than sorry and you've spent so much money on your BA so you want to ensure you get your full money's worth! Unfortunately patience is key (as we're all learning) so just wait it out, babe, and try to focus on what your boobs will be like at the end result! :)
I've been told I still have to wear the microtape for another 2 months and it's been exactly 2 months since my op. It's annoying but at least we know we're giving our boobs the best care they deserve and need :)
Take care, honey! I hope you're okay xxxx

Glad your inscions are better, and as for the sports bra it's not so bad honestly Hun, even at 6 weeks when some ladies get the all clear for wires, our boobs still actually aren't ready for them and end up back in our sports bras for most of the day for weeks and weeks after anyhow!
Well over a year on I STILL wear my sports bra 80/90% of the day!
So try not to feel too sad about being ion it for that long in fact when your time comes for wires your boobs will be a lot more ready x

Thanks girls. Yes you're all right, i'm sure i'd be wearing them a lot then anyway, as my boobs still feel a bit like they're going to drop off my chest when i take the sports bra off! Haha I feel so secure again once it's back on. And hopefully by that point they'll look even better! :) Silver lining and all that! Lol xxxx
