do i have a rupture?
Hello,
So I had ba surgery about 5 years ago and for the last 6 months my left breast started to get uncomfortable and had pains in my left arm so I went back to the clinic in London and was examined and she said all feels fine. But the last couple of months I've notice rippling at the top of my breast is this normal or should I go back to the clinic?
thanks xx

Hi Gaby, welcome to the forum!.
Did you see an nurse or your surgeon? If it was just a nurse, maybe stress that you want to see your surgeon. If you still aren't happy, it might be worth getting a private mri done to check. You an get these at around £250 at spire hospitals. This would give you peace of mind, or ammo to go back to the surgeon with.

it was with a nurse but I had to travel quite a way to the clinic I would rather not have to go back there and just have a scan x

No, Tinks right, they wont offer you a scan, they wont pay a penny more than absolutely necessary. Google private MRI scans in your local area, Spire, BMI, you could go through NHS but they wait might be forever and a day. But if it is a rupture, you're best to catch it sooner than later before it does any aesthetic damage. Then if something is wrong, go back and demand to see your surgeon, not a nurse. It might be a bit of travel, but for your health its worth it.

Hello, thanks for all your replies!
I've contacted a spire hospital to see how much an MRI scan will cost and get one done asap so fingers crossed it's not a rupture x
