5 months on

Hi everyone. It's been nearly 5 months and my boobs have started to occasionally ache like they did when I was pregnant. Also my nipples have become painful again. Could it be the nerves etc. are coming back to life? Still no feeling underneath my boobs but guessing that's understandable. Tia for any advice x

Yup! Definitely nerves hun. It can take up to two years for full sensation to return and especially over the first year you will find the aching and the nerve pain will rear up again from time to time. Nothing to worry about gorgeous (always love seeing that amazing body in your avi!) just enjoy them babe cos they 'look' great! Xx

Awwww thankyou lovely cookie x it was good to get back into gym mode after my op! I say again how fab it is to have this forum because as soon as i have a worry I know I can come on here for re-assurance! Your avi is looking gorgeous too. Hope you're ok x x

Hiya, I'm well over a year post op now and recently have been getting an ache like you in my righty which happens to be the one that has less feeling in it , I can feel touch in the nipple area slighty now where before it was completely numb, so think it is nerves healing and nothing more sinister as both are soft and shape etc hasn't changed . Don't give up on underneath yet either as sensation has very slowly returned there for me , kind of like they are healing from the outside of the breast in towards the nipple.
Amazing how the body heals itself ! XXX
