Feels a bit weird!
Hi all, just wanting your thoughts if pos.
I went to see my surgeon on wed for my 5 week check up and he said everything looks good. I have a small ripple effect in my left cleavage which you can feel but not see and a slight ledge which I can feel about 2cm under my nipple which you can see slightly if i point it out. it seems more obvious if I'm cold (so when my boobs are more perky) it goes from the out side of my left breast to the inside and as i said its like a ledge and looks like a shadow under my boob. It probably sounds worse than it actually looks but i'm worried it'll get worse. My surgeon said this was just because I have a small frame and am slim. Anyone experienced this or able to offer any reassurance? Xxx

if your still ok to wear a bra then maybe try the one above its a soft cup bra so no wires, that might ease you back into wires xx

Rippling that you can feel but not see is very very common, especially in small framed women x

Re: Feels a bit weird!
I'm worried because I've just read about bottoming out and double bubble and thinking it sounds like that. I only saw my surgeon on Wednesday and he seemed to just say its normal, but it doesn't feel normal. I'm thinking I may email him. I don't know whether I'm panicking prematurely.
I love that bra, think I'll get it, thanks Tink.
I tried asking photo's before but you couldn't tell on the photo, I'll try again later. How are you Tink? Xx

he said that my skin is tight skin, a good thing for years to come but need to have paitience and moisturise plenty but back to see him in april so hoping by then theres some movement south
if you pm a pic i will have a wee look see if i can see anything? im sure that its just settling as you are still early in healing xx

Well I hope you get the results you want in the end, and hope you don't have to wait too long for that. I really feel for you girls who have to go for re-ops, it mut be so stressful and an anxious time!
I'll wait a few more weeks and see if hy change at all because it is early days, it's still at the back of my mind though.
I'll pm you the photo later, thanks Tink xx

Re: Feels a bit weird!
Could it be that the breast tissue covering the top of your implant is still holding the implant tight making the implant bulge out a little from underneath it and maybe just still needs to stretch/relax a little ? XXX

Re: Feels a bit weird!
Hi MrsB, aw I remember we were both getting more pain at same time in our left breasts at early stages. I saw my surgeon on Fri there too and got him to check my left, all ok with me now too although I notice left slightly bigger, but over past couple of days they're settling more again.
It's amazing the changes they go through from day 1, it's good your surgeon's told you all's good too, we must try trust them and embrace patience, lol.x

Thanks for taking a look Tink, glad you think it looks pretty normal, it's so hard to know these things when your going through it, and I suppose I just expected them to be round and smooth and because it's not I freaked out, big style. I mean it's all I've been able to think about.
Louise glad to hear your surgeons said your doing well and I shouldn't doubt mine but I suppose I just think the worsed! Thanks for all your support as always girls xx ps Tink, is that comfy bra only available online or is there anywhere that sells it in a shop coz I wouldn't know what size to order xx

Re: Feels a bit weird!
You're still so early post op hunny and our boobs can look dented, square, have shadows on them for weeks and months after healing. The skin and implant will settle and one day you won't even notice the imperfections that were just stages of healing x
