Uneven boobs update!!
Hi, beauties!
I just wanted to update you on my unevenly shaped boobs! Last night i told.you all that my leftie was still bigger than my right and much heavier.. Today i went to go and get my stitches cut by the nurse and my tape removed. The nurse said my scars have healed really well (just my leftie is about 2cm away from fully healing).. I asked the nurse why my left was looking bigger and she said that pre-op my left was smaller than my right! (obviously this confused me because my left is bigger now haha).. She also said that, by looking at my scars, it looks like my left has suffered a lot more trauma than my right and she thinks the surgeon maybe struggled to get the implant in because it was smaller than my right breast. Therefore, this is probably the reason why my left is more swollen and bigger than my right. She reassured me that they will both start to change after week 2 and they will even out. I'm so happy!! So reassured now! My surgeon wants me to wear tape over my scars for the next 8 weeks though (taking them off in the shower and reapplying after) to help the appearance of the scars. So happy with my appointment today :) I hope you're all well xxxx

Re: Uneven boobs update!!
och thats good you got re-assurance babes - it always helps us when we start to go into panic mode!!!
my surgeon just said tape underneather for 2 weeks and only remove if i can see it starts to come away so it just shows they are all different.
i have take away with me and i have had a shower every day and the tape is still on from last week!!! i just blast it dry with the hairdryer when i come out the shower.
nurse said to me some surgeons say 2 weeks others say 8 - they are all very different i suppose

Aw thank you all of you!
Misskaren, yeah i know it's strange how we all get different advice! Different surgeons, different experience i suppose!
As long as i'm making progress, I don't mind haha :) xxx

Ah brill news Toni, so glad you're feeling happier and reassured.
I have to leave my initial tapes 3 weeks then remove and re apply, I think for 3 months in total, changing every couple of days x

Thank you Jen and Kriz!! I'm happier now as she really reassured me that it's normal. You girls really reassured me the other night but it's great to get an opinion off someone who's actually examining your breasts haha :) xxxx

Awww I told you that Toni, but I suppose hearing from a medical professional is the 'actual' reassurance you want babe and I'm glad you got that
