I wouldn't lift Ellie unless it was necessary Tink and even then take things gently, holding her tight into yourself and coming up with her instead of just lifting with your arms.
Carrying bags - well, its common sense what's heavy and what's not, so just don't carry heavy bags babe.
Brushing, mopping and hoovering are all very hard on the upper body, you may as well be going to the gym and doing light weights when you're pulling and pushing on the brush/mop/Hoover.
Those things can wait till Peter gets in babe, or if you can afford it, maybe just while you're recovering, maybe get a cleaner in once a week or something to give the place a good once over. If not, maybe asking a friend or relative?
But no hun. The least you use those upper body muscle the better for your recovery babe. Xx

You'll feel bad if your back on that table Mrs won't you! Lol.
And as for the bag, ALWAYS air on the side of caution babe. If it feels heavy but not that heavy (that creased me up ) then its too heavy and you need help carrying it.
Put your recovery first babe. Its nice and very normal for us mums to 'like' doing things for our kids and after your recovery you can like lots of everything and anything all you want, but until the end of your recovery hun, if you like doing something, but it doesn't 'need' doing, then you don't need to be doing it.
Sorry babe. I know you dread my posts - but I'm sure you'd rather my honesty than to have me glam it up for you to make you feel better now and for you to possibly have to pay for it later.
You know I'm lufferly really Hahahahaha. Xx
