Post op girls...Rice boobs...

Hi girls, was wondering, when you tried on your rice boobs pre ba, do you feel they were a good indication of what size you are now, post ba. I've tried on my rice boobs and they feel massive! I'm guessing when the implant is squashed in they will actually feel smaller than the rice, but do you think the rice was approximately the same as what you have now, was it a good indicator. (Sorry hope I've explained that ok). Thanks girls! Xxx

I think mine were pretty accurate to be honest.

I think they tend to feel heavier, but you soon get used to it.

I personally felt like mine wasnt very accurate... I had 460cc so a bigger implant and i think that because of that, the rice boob just felt sooo big!

When i put it in my bra the rice all spread out almost flat and i had to keep plumping them up!
I think its defo a good indication but i have a picture of with the rice boobs in and one of after and there is a slight difference.

So yes they are a good indicator but just remember that its only that, the implant will not move and spread out like the rice xx

If you can, try and find out the diameter of your implant, then cut a circle of card out of a cereal box to slip in the rice boob. This will help to keep the shape

I found it really hard to figure out the rice boobs as I already had anatomical implants and was changing to rounds and bigger! At the mo I don't think I look as big as I thought I would with the rice boobs but its so hard to tell as they didn't sit naturally with the boobs I already had! I think if you don't have much to start with then its probably pretty accurate though xx

I think the rice boobies are useless! Some people do get an accurate result from them but rice boobies can't make allowances for things like your chest wall anatomy so I feel they are a bad idea in general and a complete lottery. x

well i am only a few days post op ... i still have my rice boobs and pics - will compare and see...

It gave me a good idea though of what the size would be.. I must say it didnt / cant do more than that ..

we place the rice boobs in our bras - your implants go into your body .. some of it will be absorbed by your body .. same body sized women will may not achieve the same result with the same size implant ...

Like al the post oppers have said - focus on the look and not the size - what look / image do you want to achieve?

I am 5'1 and i have 380cc rounds - they sit perfect on me (i hope loooool) but that's cos i have big wide hips ... may seem to big on another 5'1 lady ..

They certainly do Lil, absolutely perfect hun.
Wow feels weird joining in the post op questions and knowing an answer.
Ok for me I absolutely loved my rice boobs, a bit too much in fact, as I wore them everyday when came home. I was however prepared after advice on here that the real deal may turn out slightly smaller, but I stuck with my rice boob size anyway. I'm too early to be able to say if size is same, as have a lot of swelling, but when I first came round from GA and copped a feel, I was perfectly happy with size.x

Thanks for all the advice ladies! I was originally expecting to be offered 360/380's but I'm actually having 480+535's, so I'm sure they will be big enough! But the rice boobs look ginormous! :-) I'm having anatomicals too, so I guess the rice boobs are pretty useless for me, but I must say I love wearing them! :-) been at home today and have work them all day! :-) xxx

bgorringe hun - go with the 'look' and not the size..

this was SO MUCH a worry for me and some other dec chicks ...

I nearly didnt go through cos i was worried of the size..

In fact I had my surgeon order 3 different sizes and still had sizing on the morning of surgery..

I was SO worried about the 380cc been too big - he was so sure it was the rite size ..

9 days on - am so happy to say he was rite and i was wrong ...

I am a petite girl - but i have heavy / solid bones - and as such appear to be a size 6/8 but i am 10/12...

My 380cc look beautiful - they change everyday now - and get prettier and wonkier Hysterical

but they keep changing for the best and honestly am happy the surgeon was rite ..

What look are you aiming for? the proper athestic look or the natural or ...

its the look that matters most hun

My rice boobs felt way bigger than the actual implants xx so don't worry xx

As other girls have said, rice boobs don't take into account ur exiting anatomy and projection xx

Thanks prettylil. Yeah I'm hoping for a fuller, perkier natural look. I'm having anatomicals and a full uplift, as I have one boob a lot bigger than the other, which is a lot droopier, TBH I don't think I would even mind if they had a slight fake look, as long as they become perky and symmetrical (although I am really hoping go a natural look) xxx

You look like you have a decent rack already bgorringe so I'd say the implant you're thinking is a big implant. But it must be in proportion if it's what Mr H has suggested xx

I tried on a 200 ml rice boobs initially (which looked big) , but then went for a firing with silicone shaper things and they gave me 350cc to try on and they seemed the same size as the rice boobs. Was I using the wrong sort of rice or something? Settled for a 350 cc in the end as that seemed to be the size I wanted. Have my op on Monday so I'm yet to find out how accurate it was !

I have enjoyed reading this as today had minor niggles about 380 being too big.
But after reading I am sticking with it. Makes total sense that the rice probably is a little bigger, so happy if the implants end up looking slightly smaller than the rice if that makes sense.
I did find it better to cut card to the diameter of the implant sz and put them in the stocking with rice over...
for any Pre-rice boob triers reading this.
