Hi girls!
Yesterday I asked if clinics have every size, type, profile of implant in stock on the day of surgery. A few of you said that I would need to contact my surgeon beforehand to confirm the size so that they could order the specific implants in for me. So, today I emailed my coordinator and asked her if I could speak to my surgeon asap so that I can ensure that the implants will be in stock for my day of surgery. She replied by telling me that the Abbey Pines Hospital, Transform, have a big batch of implants and it shouldn't be a problem to get the exact implant suited for me. Without doubting her vast knowledge, I just find it hard to believe that the clinic will have my exact type, size and profile in stock just on the day. That would surely mean that they stocked thousands of different types of implants wouldn't it?
Am I just stressing over nothing? Shall I just shut my mouth and trust the professionals haha?
Sorry if i'm being a big pain, I just don't want to arrive and for there to be a problem or lack of desired implants on the day.

YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST SO THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!xxxxxx

The implants you have agreed on with your surgeon will definitely be in stock on your surgery day ready for you. And your PC is right, they do stock a huge range in the hospitals x

At a guess, I'd saying you're going with Transform and having CUIs?

If I'm right hun your PCC told you the truth. Transform buy CUIs in bulk to make a huge saving for themselves and therefore are very likely to have all you need.

If its anything else I'd ask that she confirm the implants are available for you by checking they are there and getting back to you. Xx

hi there,

like cookie said, it is the CUIs that they have thousands of in bulk, but the big clinics have a lot less of the natrelles (cost them more and less profit for them), so if you do really want them to have different sizes in stock, i would strongly suggest going back and nagging them about it again.

don't ever just blindly trust, even though they are professionals, yes, but feel free to question.

you're paying them a lot of money, so its ok to be a pain in the bum :)

Oh tiger, I was exactly the same.

Personally, I'd insist on speaking to your surgeon as soon as possible so that he confirms which implants will fit you and achieve th look you're after xx

Good luck hun xx

Thank you, girls! You've really helped me make my decision regarding what to do! I've emailed my coordinator again telling her that i'm definitely having natrelles! And i said 'are you sure they'll definitely stock all sizes in the natrelles?' so hopefully she'll reconsider letting me choose earlier than just two days before. Thanks again girls, so grateful towards you all!xxxx

Hiya I would definitely bug them and ask them to tell you which sizes they have in more or less than yours that your surgeon would be happy putting in for you. I was a right pain in the ass to my surgeon but I'm glad I was, it's your body!

Good luck! Xx

You can never be a pain Hun, your paying a large amount of money and it's your body. So never think of your self being a pain, you're going to be having these boobies for years to come, you want them perfect and what you want.

Like buying a kitchen you would know every specification of where everything's going and what you'll be getting and every measurment.  yes
