Re: Am i overthinking here???
I had a bandage on when I woke up, they told me to take it off the next day and put my own sports bra on. If he does put it on and it is too tight I would have thought they'd do something else like bandages etc

Yes overworried xx
You just need to buy a couple different sizes But you will probably have strapping on too...and he will get it on..they are expert at it
Pre-op nerves babes..normal...all the if's and buts???
It really is a good day...your worry will turn to excitement in a day or two. Try and keep yourself occupied and organise all you need at home for after...i.e. nothing too high up etc.
Sit back and enjoy your day.

Re: Am i overthinking here???
you think you have problems with over worrying about it - I went down to surgery without even giving my nurse all the wide range of different bra sizes I had bought so all the pre - worrying amounts to nothing if you don't even give them the bras to see if they fit in the first place. Lo and behold though, someone had gone to my overnight bag, chosen the right size and I came round with the perfect boobs in the perfect sized bra.
You have to worry because it fills the time and gives you something to think about but the nurses and surgeons have done this a million times and they will take good care of you and make sure everything is OK - including making sure your bra is right.
I am now eight weeks post op and I slightly miss the amount I worried / thought about my boobs in the days pre-op and early post op. Two months sounds like a long time but now I have to make the effort to remember to put bio oil on them and massage them as they are just a part of me now.
Enjoy it. It's fab!
