Best place to get non-wired bras?
Hi, looking for somewhere to get some nice non-wired bras to tide me over till I am allowed to wear underwires but all I can find are nursing ones!
Any recommendations please? x

The Internet!
Figleaves, Debenhams, House of Fraser. Though Ive found that a lot of them are quite 'tweeny', and dont tend to go bigger than a 32C. Im sure you'll find something though.

Re: Best place to get non-wired bras?
Suppose I best get measured. Probably not worth it till January though as I assume they will still be changing a lot till then?? The sports bras I have feel ok, the Triumph one is a little tight on the cup. Maybe I should stick to the Macom in case I squash them and they end up a funny shape! (or would that not happen??) How are you doing? I saw you thought your left may be getting higher, my right is still quite a bit higher and I can feel that its not dropped yet as its still squishey at the bottom of my breast (I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow). I can start massaging now though and the nurse said if I massage quite firmly in a downwards direction it should help things along.
Ho did you know you had a problem last time round? Its so hard to know what is and isn't normal when they can take months to drop x

Re: Best place to get non-wired bras?
I knew cause they looked abnormal lol nah if im honest I knew from the second I seen them there wasnt something quite right and peter was honest with me the other night to say the same
then the left started getting really sore and harder so I went and seen some surgeons up here just so I had a leg to stand on icase I needed to fight my surgeon for a reop which i now feel bad about cause he was so with me in saying they werent right he did suggest band and massaging but nothing helped so it was reop that was done in the end
but he did say that the muscle in my left had been that tight it had started pushing my implant up and now im just paranoid it does it again so im just being more on the balll this time and getting any wee niggling probs out the way
im not sure what wearing sports bras that are too tight would do I went to bravissimo and got measured for a sports bra too xx

I might do the same then, we have one close by. Might stick my band back on at night too to see if it helps. No pain though so think it is just that it hasn't dropped yet. I have had a terrible cough since having surgery which really hasn't helped things! x

Re: Best place to get non-wired bras?
Hey Laura
I got mine from Debenhams. I was wearing them at around 5 weeks and they told me I could start wearing wires around 3/4 months!
I've found these to be super comfy so far and I will continue to wear them for as long as they fit!

And they're on offer at the moment!!
I was glad to get out of the Macom and start wearing something more normal!!
Hope your recovery is still going ok.x
