Going away for 3 days 3 days PO?
Every year I've gone away on a cricket tour with my OH and was going to have to miss it this year as I would be 3 days PO.
Been chatting to my OH and wondered about going. We'd be going to Minehead which is about a 2 hr drive, would only be sitting watching cricket so nothing stressful. Do you think I might be ok to go if I keep on top of my meds. Obviously wouldn't go if I was really bad after GA.
What you all think?

I wasnt too bad but days 3 to 5 where the worst for me pain wise, as long as you keep on top of your meds and dont do too much you should be ok, i found i was more tired walking about than in any real pain.

I think it is more tiredness and feeling well.... stiff and smelly!!!!! I know I feel soo much better facing the day with a shower and hairwash, just knowing you cant is a pest  Even with shallow baths etc. it is strange getting used to new friends. I could have done it...but dont think I would have wanted too.
I think you should wait to see how you feel...no medical reasons that I know of to prevent you though. xxx

I think that's a good plan to decide on the day. I have to be honest and I didn't want to go anywhere for the first week. It wasn't that the pain was unbearable, it was discomfort, tiredness and the fact that even getting up can be very hard work, which is exhausting.
I'd be prepared for the fact that you won't want to go....but if you do good on you!

I actually won a weekend away the weekend after my BA but I cancelled as I couldn't make it. I think it's best to see how you're feeling, and if you feel good then go, if not then stay home
