Hello all.  I'm new so please be gentle wavey

This is probably a 'how long's a piece of string' question, but can anyone give me a ballpark figure of how much I could expect to pay for breast implants with a BAAPS surgeon?  The one local-ish to me has absolutely nothing on their website and, although I've sent off an enquiry, I doubt they'll get back to me over the weekend.

I literally broached it with my husband this week and he's said he'll pay for one (the left, if you're interested ) if I get the other so, for budgeting purposes, I'd really like to know what sort of figure I'm looking at.  I'm guessing around £5k+?

Thanks x

I'd keep your 5K figure hun.

You can expect to pay anything really from around £4500-£5000 for a straight forward BA depending on the surgeon you use.

But if you keep your 5K back then you know you can put price aside and soley focus on the surgeon you want rather than trying to get the price you want which is the best way you should do it really babe. Xx

Oh yes definitely! If you're looking to have a lift too you could be looking at around £7000. Possibly more, possibly less depending on surgeon but that's a round about a ball park figure for a combined lift and BA x

I'm not bothered about price.  It's a huge decision to make and I will just keep saving until I've got 'enough', and THEN start booking etc.  I wouldn't want to be doing this on the cheap - way too scary!

Lift - I don't think so.  I've always been small, and I only got up to a 36D / 34DD when at my most voluptuous (god bless breastfeeding, seriously, lol).  It's not that they're saggy, they're just deflated, if you know what I mean, so I no longer have the redeeming feature of 'perky' to balance the 'small'.

Gosh that sounds so shallow.  I don't hate my body, I'm hugely grateful that it's managed to carry and nourish two children... I'm just self-conscious and think my boobs deserve some TLC, lol.

So yes, I'm assuming I'll just need a straightforward BA.

I'm not that near Birmingham (Bedfordshire at the mo), but my husband's in the Army and we're due a posting in January so who knows where we might be a year from now!

Tinkerbell, I hope you don't mind me asking, but what was your reop for?

I was reading the FDA thread last night and am still confused about the whole 'replace after 10 years thing'.  I'm assuming yours was free because of some complication, rather than just an 'it's been X years, you need them replacing' thing?  Sorry if that's a rude question!!

Not rude at all

I had my BA 15th dec last year. But my muscles were just too tight to.let the implants drop and i had grade III cc i left breast

So my reop was to release muscle move implants down and sort out cc

My surgeon moved from Glasgow to manchester but hes been great calling/emailing checking how i was between last op and reop. We tried massaging and compression band before reop but it didnt help

Helped with flights and hotels etc.so.hes been.good and hes coming home.woohoo xx

Wow so is that normal for a surgeon?  That seems to be going above and beyond - flying you up to Glasgow!

And just 5 days ago - hope your recovery is nice and swift Hug
