I hope you're all having a good Christmas too. I'm not stepping on the scales until the new year. We've still got far too much chocolate and alcohol to consume.

Re: January Buddies
Haha thanks tink.
Doughty I feel the same. I have gained about 5-7lbs more than I am happy with and I want to be happy with weight in Op, to get best result...in my mind this all makes sense anyway ....
As for cigs hun.....aggggghh, I gave up 9 months ago.... it was tough, I set a date, started on patches, only had them for 3 weeks and DID IT! yay.... I know how tough that is, but so worth while for your best recovery.

Re: January Buddies
Hi girls, nice to know I'm not the only one who has put on a few lbs this christmas! I've not got long to shift them before the op though, only 11 days now! Is anyone before me (7th jan)?
Have been reading the complications section on here this morning. Really does prepare you for the highs and lows that we could potentially face. It's very scary but nice to know there's so much support available on here if we need it.

Hi Candy cat....I don't know that there are any of us before you.....
So BEST WISHES..... I am disgusted at the lbs i have out on. I just have not stopped eating. It is like I have been starved all year just for crimbo or something.
11 days!!!!!! Exciting. You will have to be telling us all the details then.
I have not read complications but there are many posting about them so have had a good read of their problems.....has opened my eyes a bit more to the possibilty of complications (wish everyone speedy recovery/resolututions)

Thanks krizzooo! I literally cannot wait now, although I can't help worrying a little. It's to be expected I guess. A lot of different emotions to come over the next few weeks for all of us! Xxx

Re: January Buddies
I am one of the best worriers. Always see the negative and struggle to be possitive...lately I have been really trying to be possitive and it has made me feel better.
I am not worried about the OP itself but the recovery really..... I have had 2 csecs and not such a great time first time around.... so my worries are post op....about the possible complications.
You are right, loads of emotions. We will have to share with each other ....makes me feel good to get things off my mind and save me driving me hubby crazy! hehe.
I do not know what i would do without this forum. I may not be thinking so much about it all........which would be nice in a way...But I would be MUCH less informed than i am now

Hey January buddies !!
How do I sign up ?
I'm booked for BA 10th Jan with Garrick Georgeu ...
2 weeks today .. and I'm reading your posts whilst eating shortbread after shortbread ...
I have to give up cigs too ! what a time to stop smoking hey .. I go from so excited and calm head I can have this BA op to almost feeling like I'll pass out with fear !not fear of the op itself but fear of not coming home to my little girl ... and that any complications may delay my move .. I have to move !
deep breaths deep breaths xx

Yes krizzooo, it's so good to know there's always people here to chat to when I've bored the hubby, lol!
Hello msc2013, I don't think there's anything to do to join (I haven't anyway). It's so easy to worry isn't it...I'm just trying to think of all the amazing experiences we're going to have over the next few weeks and months.
I have bought the m and s high impact ones too bigbusty after they were recommended on here. Just want to fill them out now!
