Conflicting advice!
It's great to see a few surgeons and get as much info as poss. Advice too! But when the info varies quite a bit it isn't half confusing!!
Over the muscle! Under the muscle! Duel plane! (Sp)
Max sizes!!! ooh what to do!!!
Even two baaps surgeons saying totally different sizes!! 365 max to 460, with no mention of a max!
Is it that one is being over cauticious and the other too confident?

Re: Conflicting advice!
I have seen 4 now! Also shown all pics of how if like to look!
Only 1 Adrian Richards said I could achieve the look I like. He said 460.
Paul Clarke and George Netri @ transform both said can only look at pics for ideas but can't say I'm going to look like my ideal.
Allan Rezai said I should achieve but with max 365!
I feel like too many may make it more confusing! But then I think maybe I should book even more?

Re: Conflicting advice!
They've all explained reasons for placements. Under best for me. But Paul Clarke says it's his preference to do overs on almost everyone!!!

Re: Conflicting advice!
Initally, when I went to transform I showed the Dr what I wanted and he said no I can't achieve that for you, you've got to have 340..
Went and see a Baaps surgeon, showed him what I wanted and said he could do that and said he'd give me 525CC... I don't know I trusted the second Dr a lot more than my first. Which surgeon did you feel you could trust the most xx

Re: Conflicting advice!
preference to do overs would put me off that one straight away, its not down to preference, well i think I think its down to what you need for your body to achieve the look you like
have you tried sizes on x

Re: Conflicting advice!
I must admit the look I wanted I would never achieve I wanted a good cleavage out a bra but I naturally dont have a good cleavage so I was never going to achieve this so Im still quite gappy but hoping when I settle cause the muscles have been relaxed completly then they will move alot more this time and I can use a good bra to get a cleavage xx

Re: Conflicting advice!
It did put me off Paul Clarke! He's supposed to be one of the best at transform!
I did like Rezai but he wouldn't go bigger than 365 and I think maybe I wouldn't be happy with that. He said bigger sizes come with more risks! Which I guess may be true! Plus he only takes cash so can't go with him anyway!!
I did like Netri at Transform. Thought he was v honest.
Guess will have to see what Spyrou says tomorrow!!
Argh!
Should I leave it at him or book more? X

Re: Conflicting advice!
Good luck with Spyrou tomorrow If it was me, and I'd been to see several already but wasn't really feeling it then I'd book more. I knew straight away that I would have my second Dr when I met him because I just felt comfortable around him, he was also very to the point, so I knew then I didn't need to book more. X

Re: Conflicting advice!
Hmm - the choice of overs or unders - should be dependant on your anatomy only and not cos the surgeon says he does overs mostly...
i wanted bigger and transform offered 460cc - which i felt was too heavy - then went to BAAPS reg PS - who even felt 435cc was too much for me ..
He called me back for a 2nd consultation and explained the BWD stuff and then we did a physical sizing (he placed the 435cc against my boobs and the width was wider than mine)..
He still saw my reluctance and he said ok - he will order both sizes - 380cc and also 435cc and try out both during surgery and will go with the best look ..
I came away and had a good think and opted for the 380cc as he had expressed his concern etc ..
all the PS i saw said overs except Mr Chana who said unders and said my breast skin at the top was too thin - which i agreed with ..
How do you feel - with all the consulations and which PS do you 'feel' comfy with the most?

Re: Conflicting advice!
Jenpops - i would book more if you have the budget too ..
Also - maybe try places like MY Breast - for £25 you can see more than one BAAPs reg ps or spires (not sure how many you can see with spires)..
Keep at it hun - i think i had about 3 consultations in one week ..

Re: Conflicting advice!
What you have to do is firstly go with who you feel most comfortable with... Then look at the averages, so for example, if one surgeon is saying much bigger than everyone else, or a different placement to the others then rule him out unless you feel he is the one.
Overs are always the first choice of placement for any surgeon unless the woman cannot have

Re: Conflicting advice!
Sorry didn't finish..
Overs due to lack of breast tissue... Then unders will be suggested so again you can rule him out too...
It sounds like so far you like netri, rezai and good luck with the next surgeon... Just remember there are still many great surgeons out there all arnt baaps so if you felt more comfortable elsewhere that's fine too! :) xx

Re: Conflicting advice!
I would go tomorrow because reading again it sounds like netri is your fav because mr Richards seems to be offering bigger than all others... If you still don't feel you know who the one is for you after tomorrow... Keep looking xx

Re: Conflicting advice!
If any surgeon tells you he's going to do one placement because thats what he prefers, then he's not got you and your body's best interests at heart. The placement, size and shape should be tailored to you and you alone, not what they like to do, or are most practised at doing.
Were there any of the surgeons that you *really* clicked with? A lot of girls talk about "the one", because it really does feel like it falls into place. If you've not had that fireworks moment, maybe it is worth seeing a couple more if you have the time.

Re: Conflicting advice!
Thanks girls.
I think I did click with Netri @ transform, he was honest and genuinely wanted the best result for me. I think the only thing that's holding me back from booking is that he isn't baaps! Although he did seem one of the most thorough and genuinely didn't want me to look silly.
I did ask when he could do if I decided to go with him and he's fully booked in Dec :( BUT he agreed to add me onto one of his surgery days 15th! Dec!
I'm seeing Spyrou through MyBreast tomorrow x

Re: Conflicting advice!
You've been to see baaps surgeons so you really have done your research. All I can say is that if you do have a gut feeling about mr Netri after seeing your surgeon tomorrow please don't rule him off just because he isn't baaps, again many many many women are really happy with their results from surgeons who arnt baaps and these surgeons are still highly skilled and do 100s and 100s of procedures :)
Remember this is your journey and you need to go with who your most comfortable with :) xx
