Waiting to go to surgery for revision - upset
Well as the post says I'm back at the hospital in my gown waiting to go to surgery 17weeks after my breast augmentation. This time I'm not excited. I'm anxious nervous and upset. My right implant is a total mess. Wish I'd never got this done. Feel like this has happened to teach me a lesson for mucking about with them in the first place. The muscle on my right has pulled the implant quite high and my boobs have always looked totally different. I know no one is symmetrical (as my surgeon keeps pointing out) but they look totally different. Looking at my pictrail my breasts weren't two totally different shapes before. He said this revision will only drop the implant to the same height as the left side but shape and nipple difference will still be the same. So upset and disappointed.

Oh Midgie, Im so sorry you feel like this. But its NOT your fault, and its NOT karma telling you off for messing with nature. These things can happen, and we know this going in. But at least you've identified the problem and can get it fixed so soon. The procedure will be over with before you know it, and by all accounts its a much easier recovery.
The biggest love and hugs to you hun, and the best of luck. Let us know how it goes

Re: Waiting to go to surgery for revision - upset
Thanks Charlii (avi looks fab btw!)
Just don't understand why they both look totally different? This op isn't fixing that, it's only lowering the implant, so instead of the right implant looking higher on my chest at the top, it's going to be lower at the bottom to even the top out (if that makes sense) so without a bra they'll still look crap xxx

Once they release the muscle though, the implant will drop into the right place which *will* affect the nipple position. Mine looked so crosseyed and awful before they dropped.
Im not saying that it'll wave a magic wand and make you have the most perfectest boobs in the world...but there is hope xx

Awww pls don't be upset Hun, I know it's difficult but trust me once you've had the pocket revision it'll help even out the implants.
I've had pocket revision too on my lefty , and had it done soon after it bottomed out around 12/13 weeks later and it won't feel as bad as the initial augmentation.
The pocket revision will make your boobs look diffrent in a better way as it will change the height and nipple postion.
I know it's an upsetting time right now Hun, been there and done it, but the revision will help and hopefully give you the boobs you wanted in the first place.
Wish you all the luck hunny

Re: Waiting to go to surgery for revision - upset
I'm so sorry you're going through this midge
Don't lose hope though, you never know hun, once they open you up they may find a reason to resolve the other problem, so I'm sending lots of wishful thoughts your way and hoping for your best.
It may or may not work hun, but its the positivity that will get you through. If we could be right there holding your hand as you go this right now, we would... But unfortunately the hospital would probably get a restraining order out on us if we did lol, so we're right there with you in spirit babe, wishing and hoping that all turns out good.
Bigs hugs babe and remember - BE POSITIVE!

Re: Waiting to go to surgery for revision - upset
Hi girls. Thanks for all the kind words. Came bk to ward about 4.20 but felt a bit stoned hence me just getting back to you all now. Feel fine, pain not bad - just the effects from anaesthetic making me feel yucky. In over night. Haven't looked at them, can't really bring myself to it. Hope you are all having a nice Friday night xxx
