Re: So far and Q's please
Hey JenPops,
I'm going with Adrian in December, but you need be 100% happy - and it sounds like you didn't have a particularly great experience with him. I agree, he is not the most chatty - although i've always found him very professional and respectful. I'm Bucks/Berks, so like Geb2g08 says- he has a very good reputation around here for producing a good pair of boobs, plus offers free annual check ups which i like:0) I'm going for the 460cc Nagor Impleo overs.
It's such a minefield, i look forward to following your journey xxx
Geb2g08 - I would love a peek if you wouldn't mind sharing your pictures? xx

Re: So far and Q's please
Hey MissCET
I didn't have a bad experience with him. Just I wasn't sure what to expect (with it being my first proper consultation) and I guess it wasn't how I had imagined! I wouldn't rule him out.
The only thing that puts me off was the pics in the waiting room. Before and afters. Same on website I think. I didn't like any of them!
But he seemed sure he could give me what I want x

Re: So far and Q's please
Just to add, the amount of cc's we all need to achieve a result is so varied! Some ladies here have 265cc for example and end up an F cup... I had 460cc overs and I am a E. It all depends on your body so don't worry about what other ladies have, focus on the look and if they look in proportion then its right for YOU :) xx

Re: So far and Q's please
Adrian said unders as not enough skin.
Paul Clarke said overs. He said he does 9 out of 10 overs!!
I'm worried if I have overs they'll look stuck on!! X

Hey Jenpops,
Im pleased your second consultation went well. I was expecting to have unders due to lack of tissue, but Mr Richards said overs for me. I think you can get an equally natural result with both, it just depends on what's right for you. Perhaps see what the next PS recommends? Then you can have a majority response.xxx

Re: So far and Q's please
No surgeon should have a preference for any placement babe. We're each of us different and no one placement is right for all, so I'd personally pass on any surgeon who claimed to have a preference for a placement. Because our body types are different this is why a surgeon is given the choice of overs or partials.Jenpops wrote:Paul Clarke said overs. He said he does 9 out of 10 overs!!
Overs will always be the best option 'if its the best option for their patient' because the surgery isn't as invasive for the patient, its an easier option for the surgeon and less discomfort on the whole for the patient.
So you see, this may be an easier option for a surgeon... But its not necessarily the best for the patient if they have very little body fat/breast tissue.
YOUR BA should be tailored to YOU hun and to not what the surgeon likes best. Its YOU that matters when you're having this surgery, so do bare this in mind when speaking to surgeons. You're going to want to look for someone who takes all your body measurements into consideration and advises on YOUR needs sweetheart. Xx

Thanks chick.

Re: So far and Q's please
I know Cookie. It dawned on me this evening that maybe he can't do unders?? And so this is why he says overs!!
A set back I feel! Well we'll see what the others say.
Adrian Richards did say I was only just an under. I feel like now maybe he didn't need to examine my bust too much. Just do the measurement. Where as Clarke seemed to take longer to look over my breast/chest area, yet he didn't do the measurement that Richards did. Which now seems that this may be because he has no intention of doing unders?? X

Re: So far and Q's please
If I recall, you have other consultations set up? One with another BAAPS member?
There's no rush is there hun... If it takes for you to see 10 surgeons before you find the right one, you HAVE to put your body first rather our excitement to do this don't you hun.
You'll KNOW when you meet the one babe - you don't come away with questions, you come away with confidence. Confidence that they fill you with having reassured you that they can do what you're wanting from this surgery..
So keep going babe... You'll get there.

Thanks Cookie. It is easy to get carried away in the excitement. But the head needs to stay strong until THE ONE comes to light xx

Re: So far and Q's please
This is it isn't hun and this happened to me when I had my first surgery 4 re-ops ago - I let excitement rule my head and look were it got me!
Its soooooo easily done when you just want to have those boobs done and in a lovely bra ready for showing off to the world!
But its really not that simple and there's so many things to take into consideration isn't there and its only when you talk to other women on support forums such as ours that it opens up a whole new world for you doesn't it babe and its a world you never expected to see but you'll be supper happy you did when you finally come to make your decision. Xxx

Re: So far and Q's please
I totally get what you're saying Cookie. I think I need to try keep a cool calm head (I do at the mo). Especially after my next consultation and just try make a decision after seeing them all.
