M&S Sports bras
So today I bought the two pack extra high impact sports bras and also the one which has a zip at the front. I just wondered if anyone else has had these and your opinions on them? So exciting starting prep! :D xx

Re: M&S Sports bras
We have lots of good comments here about the two packs of high profile, but I haven't used those myself, but its all good feedback for them here.
The zip front, I have used this one and still do... I love this bra. Its super comfortable and holds your boobs nice and stable too. Xx

I have them! I prefer my Macom because only needing to know band size is such an advantage afterwards BUT I wear them now and they are comfortable so I like them :) x

Ah thanks girls. Yeah that's the only thing i'm worried about as the implants are quite big i'm thinking what if I don't fit in the bra's after surgery! I think I may get a Macom aswell!xx

Re: M&S Sports bras
If you want to get a mocom that's great hun, but if not, the bras you have are perfectly fine and just as good as the Macom and spending lots of money on things that aren't necessary if you have bras already could prove quite expensive babe.
Its up to you hun, but as you already have the bras there I think I'd be more inclined to simply spend a just couple of pound of bra extenders incase you need a bigger bra sweetie, rather than £37 you just don't need hun. Xx

I had 800cc hunny and fitted perfectly in a shock absorber . I've never owned a Macom. XLizzieLou wrote:Ah thanks girls. Yeah that's the only thing i'm worried about as the implants are quite big i'm thinking what if I don't fit in the bra's after surgery! I think I may get a Macom aswell!xx

It's the cup size i'm worried about getting right, I also got a pack of extenders aswell to try and make it easier. I'm just a worrier that's all! haha sounds daft I know! But yes I definitely don't want to be spending money when it's not necessary!xx

If you want a Macom to take away the worry then go for it! It's a guarantee then but if not the m&s ones are recommended here too :) x

Re: M&S Sports bras
hi hun, i have the extra high impact ones from m&s and think they're great!
i did also have the macoms though and they were a lifesaver! i took about 5 different bras to the hospital but got all the sizes wrong so the only one that fit was the macom.
the macoms also put less pressure on the incisions which is great especially in the beginning.
if you do want to get a macom, use the promo code MYBREAST on the macom medical website, you get 15% off x

You'll be fine... If you're really worried and don't want to splash more cash, why not buy another M&S front fastener in the next cup size up so if your bobs are a little bigger than expected you've got that covered babe. Keep all tags on them all and the receipts and you can just keep the one that fit and return any that don't for a full refund - no additional costs and you're then fully covered for your cup size - voila! Haha. XxLizzieLou wrote:It's the cup size i'm worried about getting right, I also got a pack of extenders aswell to try and make it easier. I'm just a worrier that's all! haha sounds daft I know! Re: M&S Sports bras
Hey,
I have got the zip front m&s sports bras size 32e, I had it for after surgery as well and they are fab - had my first training session today (5 weeks post op) and wore mine and it kept them stable no bounce.
Have just got another one as a bit cheaper than the shockabsorber ( waiting til I've been measured to get one of those).

Re: M&S Sports bras
Or buy a Macom because you know it will fit, keep the tags on the m&s ones and after surgery you can swap the sizes if they don't fit while your snug in the Macom lol :) xx

Re: M&S Sports bras
Thanks for the advice girls! I think i'll order a macom purely because i'll wish i had done if I don't, and that's one less thing i'll worry about! Haha. And if the m&s ones aren't right i shall swap them :) xx

Re: M&S Sports bras
I had the zip front, and it would have been perfect if it had adjustable straps. I have quite a long body, and the fit just wasnt big enough, so it was uncomfortable and pulling me into a weird hunched shape. But a lot of the girls get on really well with them. I now use a Macom for sleeping in still, and I barely notice its there.

Re: M&S Sports bras
get one or two for now, but maybe hold off buying too many until you see how your implants size out for you?
My surgeon advised me to get a 32DD sports bra so I got the most expensive one I could find, and wore it once ! Luckily my sister gave me her medium macoms which were great for the 1st week but were waaay to big once the swelling went down. I took a trip to M&S just over a week post op and tried on lots of different sizes in the high impact sports bra and focussed on buying the best fit rather than tag size :) xxx

Re: M&S Sports bras
Gleaming - very sensible advise..
I am only buying one macom at the end of the month ..
My surgeon doesnt let you wear a sports bra or anything in the 1st week - he bands you up for the week.
then you go back and get your stitches taken out and then you can go your sports bra as you can be measured then for a sports bra..
i am getting the macoms - cos they come in band size .. saying that i think i have always worn the wrong band size .. shd get measured again ..
i should be a size 30-ish
