Stupid question!! Empty Stupid question!!

Post by Geb2g08 10th November 2013, 7:37 am

Hey everyone!

I'm almost three weeks post op! Never really had morning boob or needed ice packs etc but the last few days my boobs have been going a lot harder and swollen and achy and needing an ice pack to relieve it! (Any time of day)
Getting scared that it's CC- trying to reassure myself that it's not because I can still move my boobs and touch them without pain they just go really hard for a while!

Is this normal? Could I just be overdoing it?

My mum says it looks and feels like when her milk used to come in after having us.

Probably me just worrying!!

All normal hunny, internally you will be healing for months and months after there's been a lot of disruption and trauma on the inside that we can't see so even though we may feel ok and scars healing externally , internally you are healing for quite a while after.

Overdoing it your body tells you hence achy boobs that go a bit hard, swelling may come back and it's your bodies way of saying just slow it down a bit please!

Yes it's normal! Healing inside takes up to two years so you will always have a few odd pains! If you feel like your needing the ice packs then use them as it might be that your over doing things ... Make sure you have a good quality sports bra as they will a he when they havnt got enough support.
Don't worry about cc because your boobs have a long way to go before they soften up fully :) xx

Sounds normal honey - I haven't had children but many girls on here describe that sensation of milk coming in xx

Mine seem to soften but then harden up again if I'm overdoing it so I'd say pretty normal Hun..

And no questions a stupid question!

It does sound like you might be overdoing it a bit, 3 weeks is still early and you must not be doing any heavy lifting (inc hoovering). just slow down a bit and see how they are. Also make sure your bra is supportive, as bouncing at the moment will make them ache a bit.
