Weeping nipple 6 days post op?
Hiya girls
I noticed when I changed from my small to medium Macom this morning that my left nipple is weeping - not so much to make a mark on the bra but enough to see it was a yellowish colour.
Is this normal? If so do I try and clean it or just leave it? I still have dressings on and my nipples are poking out from a hole cut into the dressing.
Thank you

Yes its fine, it normally happens with the incisions just like what you find on a plaster! as long as its not thick and really yellow (pus) then its normal! xx

Re: Weeping nipple 6 days post op?
I had this until about 3-4 weeks post op. I had a cotton pad to protect my bra. I changed the pad 4-5 times per 24 hour.
It was dark yellow on the pad every day for so long. I both spoke and emailed about this with my surgeon and as long as there is so "new" redness, escalating pain or fever it's nothing to worry about at this early post op.
The dark yellow is from some kind of fat-tissue that breaks down or something? (my english...I only remember half of the words) But the important thing is that it's nothing dangerous.
I had a "hole" that opened up on my other boob and did exactly this when I though it was healed.
Today everything is fine but it took a lot of time until everything was closed and all weeping was gone. You are very early post op and make sure you don't overdo things so your scars can heal. The scars needs you to be calm

Re: Weeping nipple 6 days post op?
Thanks Tink, yes I had incisions around the nipple.
Thanks Jen it's quite thin and a yellowish colour
Brill Isabell, I will get some cotton pads out as asking hubby to hand wash a bra while we are away is something even he would have no idea what to do! I may ask one of my friends to wash my pus off the bra ha ha we are very close though! Thank you, I will watch out for pain and fever, both boobs are aching about the same so I didn't think it was anything too severe I just didn't know how to deal with it and what it was - I know what you mean and your English is perfect!
I think I may have overdone things this morning so I've come back to the chalet to rest until dinner and fireworks tonight if I'm feeling up to it. There is a taxi that takes me where I want to go as there are no cars allowed on sight.
Thanks again girls xxx

Thank you. Ooh I love Zizzi's! Hubby is getting a real taste of what it's like with two kids all day!
I think it's a carvery tonight and you can watch the fireworks while you eat so I won't get accidentally nudged in a crowd

That's good!! Not so much anymore but at first when I went out I had to try really hard not to cradle them!! It sounds really bad but when someone gets to close I feel so protective I'm ready to push them away haha!! Xx

Re: Weeping nipple 6 days post op?
I'm a "stroker" as well........
Good you're not worried about the nipple any longer. It's nothing to worry about but I was also freaked out about it.
After all, it's yellow that comes out from our bodies so our brains automatically think it must be something wrong. But in this case, it's not

That made me laugh - glad I'm not the only stroker. Hubby keeps telling me to stop fondling myself in public.
Yeah I feel so much better now thank you... I tried googling yellow nipple uplift and there was some strange sites that came up!

Love it! We have created a new sub club in breast buddies! Yes Isabell, stroke club is something totally different!
I got my friend to stroke the top of my chest tonight to try and explain why I keep doing it - you can't see cleavage but I can feel it! She looked at me like I was a bit strange but she knows I'm a bit odd anyway!

Yes!! Haha I love stoking them :) it really dues make time fly when your stroking away!! The amount I feel my boobs... My boyf is jealous lol :) they just feel so great!!
I read today in a boobie book that the reason why men like boobs apparently is because in their mind it remind them of a bum from Neanderthal times! (Have no idea of that is spelt right so cave man will do!) xx

Time flies when you're having a good stroke I love it! Even though mine are still sore I do it so much it may develop into a regular habit.
I would have no idea how to spell that either and that makes sense although it doesn't explain our own boobie obsessions!! X

I do it because 1. It feels nice and 2. I like to see which parts are still numb and which parts I can feel lol!!
I've woke up a couple of times holding them which I find quite funny in the morning
