Home now
Thankyou to you all for your well wishes, I am back home now and all went well.It is just a case of hoping that things settle this time and that I don't gett cc again.
Up and about just feeling very sore, very good hospital though , they look after you very well.
Just wish I had a shower fitted at home as now I'm home I've got to have very shallow baths which are not as invigorating!

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
I'm so sorry this has happened again Daisy.
Have you discussed the option of polyeurothane implants with your surgeon?
Women who have had CC are more at risk of getting it again as sadly you've found. But there is an implant that can greatly reduce the risk for you and is offered by surgeons to those with a very high risk of CC. So maybe that's something you might like to discuss if you don't want your implants removed?
If you're thinking if having them removed then its likely if you care about the aesthetic look of your breasts that you're going to need an uplift babe to take away any sagging skin and create a natural shape shape for you.
I really am so, sorry this happening all over again. You must be devastated. Please know though Daisy that we're here for you all the way

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
Thanks thanks for all your kind words, I was 34small b and had 425ehp nagor overs,my surgeon has discussed the pu implant but I have had 4 operations on my left breast in the last four years and feel that enough is enough really, he is however sending me prices soon for that implant, reonval and lift so I will not rush into anything. However if anyone has any photos of removal without new ones I would be gratefull.xx

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
You're right to take your time Daisy. Read up about the PURE polyeurothane implants which are used here in the UK. They have a really low risk of CC Daisy, but you do your research babe and take time to think about what you want to do.
I don't think we have any women here who have implants completely removed. Its something I'm considering myself in a few years and I'm thinking if having a fat transfer also to plump my boobs a cup size or two also so maybe look into that too... That may be another possibility for you?
Whatever your decision hun... You know we're here

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
Thanks cookie, if there was no risk at all I would go for the other implant but I have been researching and it seems there is a risk with any implant it is just less with those and not sure I want to take the risk again.I did also discuss fat transfer but it would be an awfull lot of injections to get to the size I am now and some also gets reabsorbed into your body, the other concern is of course the cost and although I have had no problems so far with my right breast it doesn't mean that I won't so I'm still trying to decide although removal is my preferable option at the moment.x

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
Ahhhh.... I don't intend to remain the size I am you see. I intend to have another uplift and have them reduced, using only whatever natural breast tissue I have of my own and also the help of fat transfer to get that one or two cup sizes more.
Yeah.. From what I've read the body can absorb some if the fat, but if I get a cup size more on top of my own breast tissue, I'm thinking I won't have a bad bust. It'll be a lot smaller than I have now, but it'll be pert and full which is fine by 'me'
Like yourself its something I'm still mulling around with in my head too (been through also ) but its still there about how I'll feel without big boobs.
Its a hard decision to come to babe. But whatever it is, you'll be at peace with it once its decided. Xx

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
Sounds good cookie, if I could them removed, uplift and transfer I would probably jump at the chance but money is tight and I havn't had any prices yet but as it involves more procedures,I.e, removal, uplift, lipo and transfer I'm presuming that at is likely to be a lot (probably about 7/8 k), have you been given any prices yet?

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
I'm expecting around the £6500-£7000 Marker. The probability being the lower I think. Pretty much the same cost as an uplift and augmentation. Xx
Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
aw daisy its awful
how bad is the CC?I had grade III in my left breast and could not have lived with it, it didnt look THAT mad but the pain had started to get worse over the months so the surgeon went in and done what he done, and a few other things
It is a worry that I get i back again and im constantly looking and touching it to check all is ok
We are here to talk to or even just listen so please let us know what happens and how you get on xx

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
Still so much money though Cooke, but I will weigh up all my options.Good luck if you go through with it though and at least there would be comfortable boobs and no cc!
Tinkerbell24 , the surgeon didn't tell me what grade it was on both occasions I had cc but he said it was quite bad,it is very uncomfortable and painfull on some occasions, doesn't look too different but feels like a potato!Don't panick and try to get on with your life, it can be too easy to get yourself worried and keep checking them.As I'm sure you know, if you get cc you will know. But hopefully you will be fine now.xx

Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
Maybe you could mull the option over of having it done as two procedures? Save for the uplift and then later after saving have the fat transfer then, IF you even feel you need it. You may have enough breast tissue now after being stretched so much to create a nice sized boob for you. Xx
Re: Capsulectomy tomorrow!!
Yes, thanks cookie that is an option that I might consider, although normally works out more expensive to have done in two parts but as you said maybe I'll have enough tissue which would be great.xx
