New boobs affecting the rest of your figure
Hi Ladies
I was just wondering how your boobs affected the way you see the rest of your figure post op? Especially shorter ladies.
I do wonder whether my boobs will make me look a bit dumpy or bigger (i've got quite curvy hips), or whether it'll make my tummy & hips looks smaller?
How did your implants affect your overall figure? I'd love to know

Re: New boobs affecting the rest of your figure
I'm quite tall and slender so my 1st ba the balanced me out and gave me boobs that suited my figure, my 3rd ba however I look pretty top heavy now but that was the look I was going for.
I think the majority of women it balances the top and bottom out creating a lovely figure most women feel they should have been born with! X

Hey,
Before my ba I was a pear shape (small on top and big hips) now I am in proportion and an hour glass shape, I think from what I wanted from my ba my surgeon listened and took it into account when deciding which implants to use ( took four different sizes into theatre) I leftnit to him to decide which was the best one for the look I wanted.

I am pre BA but even trying on the implants in the bigger bra on Monday (my sister and I were left in a private room with the various sizes so I could try them on with different clothes)
I felt so much more in proportion with the implants in situ and in my underwear I actually liked my figure, rather than disliking it because I feel 'bottom heavy' which accentuates my extra weight at the moment!
Hoping to feel the same post op xx

Re: New boobs affecting the rest of your figure
I'm a size 10/12 so I always found that pre BA I had to wear tops that fit me but often they were big around the chest..... Nothing fitted well.., now I have boobs everything looks better! I can draw attention to my new figure and I'm curvey and I love that I have the boobs to match..
I don't think you will feel dumpy at all... Rather the opposite... !! It is a learning curve though learning to dress them Xxx

Still very early days for me, and not quite shifted the post GA Buddha belly as yet, but I already feel much more hourglass shape and very happy with the results so far :) xx

Re: New boobs affecting the rest of your figure
what kind of things do you girls wear now to sort of accentuate your figure? I wear such baggy stuff now to hide my lack of ta-ta's. I'll need to do a bit of shopping post-op. Such a shame! haha

Re: New boobs affecting the rest of your figure
Im middle height, 5'5, size 8-10. Had 32B boobs before ba, now have 30f (aparently wasnt a 32) and my surgeon said im now 'in perfect proportion'
Im looking at wearing dresses which outline the hourglass figure to accenuate my new curves

Re: New boobs affecting the rest of your figure
I think with me it is going to depend on what I wear.
In normal clothes I just look normal and well balanced.
In more fitted clothing I do have big boobs but I am fine with that. It is how I was pre babies and have just restored that look. I am I suppose "petite" so was very conscious of looking too big. My surgeon took on board my concerns and did a great job at recommending a size that fits me well.

I used to wear a lot of flow-y tops to hide the fact I had no boobs! But now really anything is great! Even clothes with no cleavage showing look great when you can see your figure xx
