Really starting to worry
Hi ladies
Sorry it's been a while. Had my op done back in June everything was great recovered really well. But the last week or two my left breast feels like the implant has moved down to the bottom and gone quite hard. When I feel it I can feel little air like pockets that I can move and ripple with my fingers. It actually makes me feel a little sick when I do it. From the nipple down it feels hard and not right. The right one is soft and fluffed out nicely but I am worried about the left one. Please help me.
Thanks xxx

Hi kitty, good to see you back, I'm not sure really but I didn't want to read and run... If I was you I would try to get booked in to see the surgeon or nurse and get them to have a look xx

Ahh big hugs. Hopefully it's just taking a little longer to drop than the other, but I agree with Jennifer-if it's worrying you then get your surgeons opinion. Good luck hun xx

Re: Really starting to worry
my first thought when I read this was that you might be feeling rippling. It does feel exactly as you describe.kitty87 wrote: When I feel it I can feel little air like pockets that I can move and ripple with my fingers. It actually makes me feel a little sick when I do it.

but then... I was confused after reading this...
is your breast actually hardened hun? or is there a ripple like affect that you can move and feel?
if you can give any further description this may help sweetheart. Xx

If you've been given the go ahead to go braless which I'm pretty sure you will have then you don't have to wear one if you do to want to... I do still just because I like the support xx

Re: Really starting to worry
At 4 months post-op its entirely up to you Kitty whether or not you want to continue wearing a sportsbra to bed.
Its not necessary if you don't want to... However... If you want the result to be maintained for as long as possible then it may be worthwhile...
I'm absolutely paranoid about sagging Kitty, so wear my sportsbra as well as a KUSH because I want to maintain the aesthetic appearance I had for as long as possible and if a sportsbra and a kush can help with that (which they can) then that's what I'll do.
But like I said hun... Its not essential if its not something you want to do.
I'm wondering... If the hard rippling thing you can feel just above your scar is your actual implant Kitty?
This is very normal babe and the majority of us are able to feel the same. I infact use mine as a stress ball, poking it in and out.
Whether we have overs or partials, there no tissue or muscle covering the implant on some breasts... I can feel mine more on lefty than I can on righty hun and its completely normal babe
If you can stomach it, knowing its normal, have a little feel around... Can you feel it like the base of the actual implant itself - do you think this is what it might be? Xx

Re: Really starting to worry
Iv not been wearing a sports bra for bed for a few months n I can notice the difference I think I will start wearing them again. I have got a kush I bought it after I saw your post I think I will start wearing both again for bed.
I think it is just the implant that I can feel it just feel a lot different to how they do out of the body.
Thanks for your reassurance I feel loads better now xx
