Hey Senora,
I hope it's all ok hun, perhaps it's just settling down? My leftie has been getting harder and tight at times, but they both look the same - so just putting it down to healing twinges!
Louise - how did your appointment go with the surgeon?
xxx

Re: December Buddies
Hi Girls, aw MissC it went fab thanks, I think you're right it may just be healing pains, maybe a wee reminder to your body that you've had op & to slow down, lol, I would tell hubby he's in charge of all duties this weekend.
My surgeon gave me a run down of what I should be expecting at this stage, in terms of healing, settling etc. I can take my tapes off, woohoo I think, although I'm not sure I want to now, lol.I can run if I want and start introducing gently upper body exercises. To keep wearing sportsbras until 6 weeks then go get measured, he stressed importance of wearing correct size after BA.
My friend (who had her BA 13th Dec) and me have booked a day out on 1st Feb, to go get measured together and bra shopping, oh and it would be rude not to have lunch and a few cheeky wines that day too, so excited for it.
My boobs have changed a bit again the past day, they're really softening up and have moved slightly closer together, now you could only fit a car in my cleavage instead of a bus, lol.
Happy Friday Girls.x

Re: December Buddies
Hi all, not been on for a while, been really busy with work! Glad to hear your all ok! Sounds like I've missed a lot!
Krizzoooo only 4 days to go for you, how exciting!
Well just a quick update, I got measured the other day and ended up with a 32DD undirewired balcony bra from m&s. wore it the other day and it was so uncomfortable! I think I'm going to take it back it was that bad, but my husband thinks its coz I've got so use to wearing comfy sports bra's, which is probably partly true!
I went to see my surgeon on wed for my 5 week check up and he said everything looks good. I have a small ripple effect in my left cleavage which you can feel but not see and a slight ledge which I can feel about 2cm under my nipple which you can see a slight shadow of if you look close enough and it seems more obvious if I'm cold (so when my boobs are more perky) he said this was just because I have a small frame, didn't really make sense to me but as long as it doesn't get worse it should be ok, so fingers crossed!
How's everyone else? Healing well? Xxx

Aw that's good Jordan, fab attitude hun.
Honestly really feel like I was born with these boobs now, my body's really embracing them so far, I feel pretty much back to normal, got a terrible habit of groping though, I can't keep my hands off them and everytime I walk past hubby when kids not there he gets a flash. he's getting so used to them too, doesn't bat an eyelid anymore. lol.x

Re: December Buddies
hey jordan,
i know its a crazy feeling - mines were not numb or anything pre ba - just normal but now.....OUCH!!!
putting my bra on when it touches them is really strange - not sore just now a nice feeling lol
i am sure there is something that you can get for this - its a cream that you use when breastfeeding....need to find this out :)
how are you doing anyway - you have a pic trail?

hey Karen, are ur nipples a bit dry or rough? Lansinoh or Avent nipple creams might help if they are. Just watch they both stain clothes cos theyre oily.xxD

Re: December Buddies
hey di,
no they are fine and look normal is just the tenderness - i believe it is a common side effect for them to become v sensitive but they arent dry - do you just get that cream in boots.....is it on shelf of over the pharmacist counter - might need to pretend in breastfeeding!!! lol

Re: December Buddies
Hi Dec Chickadees, how are you all? I took my boobs to Belfast today with work. It felt weird getting patted down through security, i was para my nips would'nt behave and quite right i was to be too, they were standing too attention screaming 'pick me, pick me'.
I've been so patient and not sneakily tried any bras on yet, but i'm ready now to give up the sportsbras. My boobs are getting softer by the day and it feels like i've never had anything done.
My skin on my right boobs started to relax now and it looks like they've both now dropped. They seem to look a bit chubbier but not sure if that's my imagination.
How's everyone else getting on? X

Re: December Buddies
Glad to hear its going well for you Louise and yours are dropping and fluffing. Sounds fab.
Mine have started to drop but this is now showing the ridge which Cookie thinks may be double bible, it could get better as they drop but could get worse so I am quite worried and hoping I won't have to have a reop because I'm not sure if that's included in the aftercare and I'm currently still paying my boobs off until April. Not to mention what a reop would mean mentally, the worry and stress and may cause, all sorts are running through my mind at the moment, sorry to be so miserable!
Hope everyone else is doing well and Krizooo is recovering well xxx
