Hey all post oppers, hope you are doing ok. I took my daughter to see cinderella in panto this morning, it was lovely but totally knackered me out!! I cam home took a couple of painkillers and spent the afternoon in bed. Other than that i'm fine, it's my incisions mainly that are sore.

Hope you've got a rest day tomorrow MissC, my kids are off to panto with my brother & sis in law tomorrow, thought yippee I would have a lovely lazy sun, but nope, hubby's told his mum & dad we'll be round for lunch. Oh hope my father in law doesn't go for a big Xmas hug or he'll bounce off me lol.x

Yes got another restful day, supposed to be going for afternoon drinks..i've not had any alcohol for a week, so may be my first glass of wine!

Can't believe you went to theatre. I couldn't Imagine going anywhere! Even still.

Hope y'all had good sleeps! Both our boys full of cough and cold now. I slept on sofa so hubby could look after them. Just kept hearing Cooper sneezing then shouting 'bogies daddy' lol

Aw Jen poor babies, my little boy was up through night last night too, I was sleeping so soundly as well hoping my hubby would see to him, but he's such a Mummy's boy (wouldn't have it any other way) that he needed Mummy cuddles.
MissC we love you too, can't stop checking out your Avi, now I have a girl crush on your cleavage, lol, going to be so handy on Xmas day to hold your wine glass.x

Well girls I survived my Xmas hugs from my in laws today and my Father in law hasn't been projected to the moon after hugging me, lol. Can't believe it's only 3 sleeeeps till xmas.x

Hey girls,

I hope you are all well.

I had my 1 week post op appointment today (one day early). The nurse changed my tape and commented that there was some weaping, which is normal apparently. However, since i've got home there are some spots on my bra (on the band where my tape is).

She wasn't my normal nurse, and was quite abrupt. She kind of implied that perhaps i was doing too much (which is honestly not the case, i've been a right lazy one!)..so i'm now a bit paranoid that i'm not healing well. I was so excited about showering today, but too scared to get my tapes wet.

How were your incisions 1 week post op? xxx

Hey Hun, don't worry poppet my friend was weeping from her stitches a bit for about 2 weeks, my nurse told me to dry my strips with cool hair dryer when come out shower, I've got to keep strips on until see surgeon on 10th jan, I just got a few home to change myself when they start to peel.x

Thanks darling, the hairdryer is a great tip - Mrs Ball just recommended the same thing.

It seems to have stopped, i've popped a clean nude bra on - so i can tell if it weeps anymore over night. I'm hoping to have a well needed shower in the morning!

Hope you can relax soon babe. I've officially started the festivities, arrived today at my mum & dads (in Wigan), I've just demolished my first bowl of nuts & roses chocs & feel sick now, lol, oh it's going to be such a chore munching my way through all the delish Christmas treats in my Mums cupboards.x
