Hi ladies
I am 3 weeks post op on sunday and am a little concerned as i still have pain in my left breast and my arm hurts when i lift it. No pain on the right though. Also left is swollen and scar is quite red but no blood or puss so dnt think its infected??? Is this normal??

Re: worried
Sounds like a nerve lovely. Its VERY common whilst you have swelling for it to apply pressure to a nerve and then when trying to use your arm as you describe it can be very painful.
As the swelling continues to settle the nerve pain will subside babe. Xx

Re: worried
I'm 4 weeks post op and it's been exactly the same for me
The swelling makes the boob really hard.
Don't cc takes a lot longer to get as it is scar tissue?

Re: worried
It'll just be differing healing time babe.
Remember... You didn't have one op. You had two. One on each breast and its VERY common during surgery for one breast to suffer a little more trauma than the other and this breast generally is always behind the one that had a good time and heals totally differently and you do very much notice the one that's slower healing because you sooo want it to be like the other one.
They DO catch up sweetie. Honestly... Boobs are hardly ever the same through healing. They look different, they can feel different, be odd shapes, be one bigger than the other... Have odd shape to one. It all VERY normal hun.
If however you are overly concerned, then just call the hospital babe and ask to speak with your surgeon. Xx
