Nightmares
I keep having nightmares about BA going horrifically wrong, I didn't think I was worried about it but keep having the same dream where they have gone completely wrong with size, shape etc.
Two weeks to go, can't help but feel things will only get worse... Sure it's just jitters but wondered if any of you girls had the same?

A lot of ladies get strange dreams relating to their upcoming Bas, it's a subconcience thing, boobs on the brain!

Re: Nightmares
I think it's pre op jitters which is normal but also stress... It's a lot to prepare for mentally and even though you may be sooo excited there are still always going to be nerves...
For me these horrible questions marks I had stopped when I decided on size but at night it's always a time we mull things over...like with most things the build up is the worst part... On the day it's very calm!!
I think prepare to have a few late nights worrying, they are normal and can't be helped but just remember why you want to have this, the trust you have in your surgeon and your doing the right thing for you xx

Re: Nightmares
Oooo i can so relate to this. I kept dreaming that i came round and found he had put 2 of the biggest boobs onmy chest known to mankind. So much so that i was pinned to the bed with them:ral:
I can assure you it didn't happen so its not some sort of premonitions you are having. I think it was because I ate breathed and slept boobs for the 10 days beforehand and obviously it was still playing on my mind when i went to sleep

Re: Nightmares
Awww hunni, those dreams are awful and most of us have had them, if we were to believe what we dream, I'd have woken up with no nipples!, my boobs on my back! and my implants sat on a shelf in Sainsburys!!charliee151 wrote:I keep having nightmares about BA going horrifically wrong, I didn't think I was worried about it but keep having the same dream where they have gone completely wrong with size, shape etc.

It's all normal babe. you'll be fine xx
Re: Nightmares
I think if I'm honest I'm worried about size, that's possibly what's plaguing me, as I'm concerned about BWD and the implant diameter, think I might give Mr Liew an email to get some reassurance.
Because i am so excited that's it's all finally happening the excitement totally outweighs the anxiety but then i have a wobbly moment and think 'oh god what if I die' 'what size will they be' 'will they look like frankenboobs' and generally a 5 minute meltdown of am I doing the right thing?

Re: Nightmares
Hey,
I had all sorts of dreams and nightmares before my BA and even the night before I woke in a cold sweat.
On the day I was quite calm to start with as I was going down to theatre at 3.30pm but then got changed to 2pm (I think) due to an allergy to latex I've got. At least I wasn't waiting long.

Re: Nightmares
Awww one of the benefits of having a BAAPS surgeon is they are just at the end of an email if you need them Charliee.
I'm sure EVERYTHING will be just fine, but if you have ANY concerns at all... It is best just to get it out and speak with your surgeon. Maybe send a pic along of the size you like also. Maybe one in a bikini though, it might be a bit weird sending Mr Liew a topless pic from Nuts
You're gonna be just fine babe. Pre-op jitters at this stage on the run up to your BA is so common hun, but I'm sure Mr Liew will give the reassurance you need

Re: Nightmares
Nightmares are normal. I had some crazy ones before my op. Including one really odd one where my surgeon decided to use inflated surgical gloves instead of implants.
He insisted that they were last in new implant technology. The weird thing was that only the palm area of the glove was blown up and the fingers were just hanging!!
Slightly disturbing, think I may eaten too much cheese that day!x

Re: Nightmares
Hey Charliee151
I agree with what the girls have already said, it's just jitters creeping into your subconscious.
I had two boobie dreams, one where Mr Alvi had made three incisions on each boob, I was horrified.
Like the girls said, when it comes to the big day all will be calm. I bet you can't wait. Xx

Re: Nightmares
I dreamt that my surgeon was drunk when he came to theatre and I asked him if he was really sure he managed to do my surgery even if he was drunk.
