nightmares about surgery?!
Morning lovelies
have woken up this morning fresh from a horrible nightmare about my surgery, not sure if I can hack that until Feb! Did anyone else get a lot of nightmares? Any tips for preventing them would be fab

Re: nightmares about surgery?!
Ahh no I remember having one or two not long after I got my surgery date, think it was because I was worried as I'd never had surgery before. Theyre not very nice though hun but I found that really focusing on the positive reasons as to why I was having the surgery helped me, also reading some of the girls surgery stories on here helped as it made me realise that the GA wasn't as big a deal and it was normal to be nervous about it. After talking to some people about being worried about the Surgery and them convincing me its fine, people have surgery every day and at the end of it I'd have new boobies helped too, woo!
Obviously it's normal to be nervous about it too, it's a pain that we can't control what we dream about! Try and turn your nerves into excitement and hopefully your nightmares will stop soon :flowers: xxxx

Re: nightmares about surgery?!
I think this is something we all experience before our surgery, we all have our own fears and they creep their way into our dreams. Just try and remember the reasons why you want this, so many of us have been there hun so you aren't the only one feeling this way x

Re: nightmares about surgery?!
Its normal hun. Especially when you have boobs constantly on the brain - I had lots of dreams involving boobs that didnt make sense. Try and be more excited than you are nervous & maybe the dreams wont be so scary. I was more excited so I just had very odd dreams. & easier said than done - try not to obsess over boobs and maybe they wont creep in your dreams as much :)

Re: nightmares about surgery?!
As the girls have already said sweetness, it's very common for our anxieties to come through in our dreams and very common for pre-oppers too.
You only have to type dreams into the search bar to see just how common it is babe. But you've been given some great advice above to hopefully lay them to rest xx
