dressings removed yesterday
was absoloutely terrified but scars were ok so i am pleased about that. i will get pics up later
boobs are tiny though. cannot believe how small they are :( so gutted about that, but suppose i can get padded bras now where as you couldnt get many padded f cups.
i nthink i am about a c cup sadly but boobs are even so cant complain .
i am 9days p.o with no dressings at all! is this what normally happens?? steristrips n everything removed/?
i am a nurse myself and if one of my patients had a surgical wound like this i would keep it still covered at the minute to prevent infection. also worried as i am back to work friday and just terrified of getting an infection which could happen so easily if theese boobs are left out in the open
what does anyone else think? x

Re: dressings removed yesterday
Having dressings removed if all the tissue looks good and healing is doing well is very normal babe
And please don't judge your breast size just yet.... Honestly babe, what you're looking at right now is not at all anything like the result you're going to have to have - I PROMISE you that. Give them time hun. They're held back right now by the tight skin and also by the muscle but as all that starts to relax your implant will then be able to reach its full potential!
Great to read everything looks OK babe. Xx

Re: dressings removed yesterday
Glad to read all is well, yes I had steristrips on for a good few weeks after my dressings were removed then changed them every other day when I bathed.
Don't judge your boobs yet these are brand new boobies, and they will all look a tad diffrent as they're perkier and are unders. Once all settled in months to come I'm sure you'll be over the moon with your lovely perky boobs
