Re: post op support bra
I wouldn't bother with cheap sportsbras babe. They're fine and first and then a couple of washes later there's very little support left if them.
The most popular bras on the forum are:
The Triumph Tri-Action Extreme (my fav)
The Shock Absorber
The M&S front zipped sportsbra (another fav of min)
The M&S pack of 2 high impact sportsbras for £25
The Macom.
Any of those are perfect for your recovery babe.
You need a bra that's going to keep your boobs nice and stable during recovery so that the implants have time to adhere to the breast pocket, so it needs to be a good bra that's going to see you through hun.
Also if you're going to buy a front fastener its also worthwhile buying a back fastener also and buying some bra extenders too. This is because very often you may have quite a bit of swelling around the ribs and with a front fastener there are no means of extending, but with a back fastener you use the bra extenders to give you some relief. Xx

I agree, the cheap bras do not give enough support, cookies list is great!
For me my fav is the Macom, just because you only need to know your band size so you don't need to worry :) xx

Re: post op support bra
thanks girls, especially you cookie <3 there's sooo many choices i don't even know.. i think i've narrowed it down a fair bit now though, but not since these options are abit more expensive i can't really buy two of the same in different sizes.. so not sure whether i should go for 32C or 32D

Re: post op support bra
Hey Ravenxwaves
You could buy one Macom, as you don't need to know a cup size for that, just the band size and then as Cookie suggests go for a back fastener to help out if you're really swollen as you'll be able to use the extenders. Maybe get that in the D.
And as so many others before me have said, if you go onto Macom's website and buy the bra the code Mybreast will get you 15% off!!
Enjoy your shopping. It's quite exciting getting everything ready for your bag!x

Hey,
I've got two Macom bras in a 32 and 34 also two m&s zip up front fasteners. My surgeon said just get a 34 but didn't want to rely on one!!!!! My thinking was what if it doesn't fit???? So got both size
The discount code that cab321 was on about does work as ordering two with postage came to just over £66. hope this helps

Re: post op support bra
If money's tight babe I'd just get the pack of two M&S high impact bras for £25 in a 32D and a pack of bra extenders babe. No need to go to lots of expense. You'll be fine with those and they'll take you right though and cover you for swelling as well.
As long as you have a bra that will support your boobs well then that's what matters, not spending lots money you haven't got babe.

Re: post op support bra
I got the pack of two high Impact from m&s their a good starter, and I had no problems with taking them back, I'm now in the shock absorber as they are fantastic but abit pricey!
I was told to bring 32c and a 32d, but both were too small even when the swelling went down! I needed 3 back extenders until the swelling went down and im now in a 30F bra, so It might be worth taking bigger sizes too Hun, maybe DD, and just keep the receipt! Def need those back extenders too! (I was a numpty and forgot to take mine to the hospital) xx
