WHICH MACOM?
Hi
I've just been reading the thread about which bra to choose etc and I've just been on the Macom site and I just wondered which Macom people have chosen. There's two different types style 1010 - the Breast Surgery bra with elastic at £46.90 or 1007 - Breast Aug/Surgical Lifting bra at £36.80. I must admit the one with the elastic looks the nicest as it's lower at the front but obviously very expensive. Would be interested to hear opinions. Also like the look of the Triumph Extreme but as I won't know what size I will be and need a bra straight after op it has to be the Macom.
Thanks.
xx

Re: WHICH MACOM?
I have both Macoms and I really don't like the one with the elastic band. It doesn't cover my boobs in size Large so if you're having quite large implants-avoid.
I love the "best selling" macom and had used it every day since surgery.
I only have experience of these 2 but I hope the Triumph extreme ladies come around soon. I have understood that they love that one

Re: WHICH MACOM?
You're going to want the breast aug one Siamese for the Macom.
Love the Triumph. I would always advise buying a back fastening bra as well if you're opting for a front fastener. I've seen far too many women here who have suffered a lot of swelling around the ribs after surgery (totally normal) and found their front fastener very uncomfortable.
If you call your clinic and ask for the surgeons guestimated size to enable you to buy bras you can buy a back fastener in the size suggested by your surgeon along with some bra extenders which you can pick up for a couple of pound on amazon, then if you do have extensive swelling you at least have the means there to make yourself comfortable. Xx

Re: WHICH MACOM?
I'm a fan of the triumph tri-action extreme myself... But if money's tight babe, M&S do a perfectly good budget pack of two high impact sportsbras for £25. They're more than adequate to get you through your surgery babe.
I just prefer the triumph because its cut lower than most sports bra and the straps are thinner as well as giving the most excellent support (it was voted the best overall sportsbra in a tabloid poll) so it enables you wear more of your closet unlike with other sportsbra which sit quite high on the chest so you're very limited with what you can wear with them. Xx
