Re: Macom Bra?
it is VERY much worth the investment!!
i ordered one which arrived pre BA, and when i tried it on then i didnt think it was the most comfortable thing lol
but this all changed post op.
its front fastening which is very helpful because many girls including me can't move their arms up or back that much to close a back fastening bra.
also it takes away the stress of having to guess cup sizes, as macoms only come in S, M, L etc, so only according to your back size. they stretch to accommodate whichever cup you end up being.
i had bought 4 other sportsbras for early post op, but i ended up ordering a second macom and returned all the sportsbras, thats what a convert i've become! :)
if you order them online from the macom website, put in 'mybreast' into the promo code box for 15% off.

Re: Macom Bra?

Re: Macom Bra?
I'm also pre ba but got my macom at the ready!
I have to agree they really don't look sexy but I'm sure comfort & support is more important in the early stages.
It's a great idea to only have a back size, saves you having to buy loads early on and then having to take them back and exchanging them afterwards

Re: Macom Bra?
Hahaha! Just seen this post!
Jennifer! That really did make me giggle! I never did get round to customising my Macom! I cut off the little bow on the front of it though cos I thought "what's the point of the manufacturers trying to make it 'pretty' with this pathetic little bow"!
I have to say Kel, they are worth the investment! I find the straps alot less 'bulky' than other sportsbras, they are more like actual bra straps, and mine is also quite low cut too. My boobs don't move in it at all! xxx

Re: Macom Bra?
sorry to highjack this thread a teeny bit, but i'm selling my two medium size macoms (1 black, 1 white) in the bargain section on this forum, as they have now gotten too loose for me now that the swelling is gone, but i literally lived in them for the first 3 weeks post op!
anyone interested in a bargain head over there :)
