What a difference a bra makes...
Hi girls! So I went for my 6 week check up earlier this week and Mr Alvi is very happy, all healing well :-)
So I was in the Trafford centre the other day and decided to get measured in Victorias Secrets. The woman was lovely! Explained about my BA, she asked if I had been given the ok for wires and seemed pretty clued up. She fitted me in a 32DDD :-) didn't even know that size existed it must be unique to the store?? Haha anyway I was really pleased!! The fitting rooms were amazing they even had little t shirts in so you could try on over the bras to see what it looked like. Wow! What a difference a good bra makes!! I was soooo happy!! The lady advised me just to buy the one for now as my boobs will keep changing for a while.
So to any ladies feeling fed up in the sports bras...be patient. You will be so surprised to see what a difference a good bra makes. I finally feel boobylicious now :-) hehehe xxxxx

Re: What a difference a bra makes...
DDD is a British E I think. I'm scandinavian and we use the D,DD,DDD&DDDD which is a bit more confusing than the British measure system
I'm only 1 week postop but already looking forward to go shopping.
I'm happy you are healing so well!

Great post Hun, yes wired bras make ALL the diffrence. Victoria secrets is an American brand and us sizes differ slightly to uk sizes a 32 ddcd is the same as a uk 32E
Good advise from her also re not buying too many so early post op. And asking if ok for the wires. Thumbs up!

Fab news Hun! They look amazing in your avi :) I agree with isabell, I think it is an E. Maybe they use the American sizes as it's an American company? X

That's a great size! Your avi looks great too. I am hoping to get measured tomorrow at bravissimo in Cambridge. I had a similar implant size to you and think I could be a similar bra size....

Re: What a difference a bra makes...
Hi missvmac, I love the Trafford centre. I went up there a few weeks ago and I loved Victoria secret. There staff are lovely. A girl came up to me and asked if I wanted h ictiria secret experience, saying she would measure me etc.... Without even thinking I said " oh it's not really worth it at moment, maybe in few months" she must've thought I was A fruit loop!!!!! I didn't get any bras, as I'm pre op at mo. save that for after. However I brought lots of things from "pink" gym stuff and lounging pants and lots of other stuff...... Love this store.
I heard on here they only size to a DD so I am so pleased you have posted on here as I can go in there father, I'm hoping to be DD,E.....
I bet you are so pleased with your purchase, as I would be xx

Thanks Ellie :-)
Haha bizzy that made me laugh, she probably did think you were a bit mental!! I've just checked the website and only goes up to DDD. Wonder why they stop there?! Seems strange for an underwear store!! Oh well maybe in a couple of weeks I will go to Bravissimo and see what size they say xxx

Re: What a difference a bra makes...
God knows why they stop there, you would think being an American chain they would go higher........
They have the most beautiful clothes. I didn't delve much into the bras.... Did buy beautiful pants though...... Fat lot of good eh? My hubby said he has never seen so many. Knickers and bras. I thought stick around babe, you will soon........
