1 year P.O Check up
Had my 1 year check up with my lovely surgeon Mr Mashhadi. Thanks to this forum I realised that! I didn't get any info come in the post about it etc, and was ignorant to it! He had a look, took some pics of me in my bra. Checked my scars , one is still quite mauve so told me to get Dermatix silicon gel and apply morning and evening and will see a difference. He thanked me for coming as he said he doesn't see many a year on as they don't make appointments, and I said, they should have reminders sent!!! He asked if I was happy, and I said I was. Asked my measurements and if happy with the cup size, and I told him I was happy with the overall look. I asked if any changes to happen, he said no, and told me he changed someone's 22 yr old implants recently but saying that to be aware of any changes and to inform him. A lovely man, very pleased with his work and came away happy x

Re: 1 year P.O Check up
Glad it all went well, he sounds like a lovely surgeon.
My surgeon was telling me that he has a patient who is 92 years old that has asked to have her implants taken out, not for any medical reason! She has had them in over 20 years too!

Re: 1 year P.O Check up
aw lovely update jakki, glad you're happy!!
wow 22 year old implants, and a 92 year old!!
tbh i don't think i would bother having them taken out as a 92 year old? if they weren't bothering me medically then surely the risk of surgery is bigger than necessary at that age..

Re: 1 year P.O Check up
Really glad all went so well for you Jakki
I'm with you Blue - at 92, surely the risks of having surgery by far outweigh anything else in the lady's life, I mean... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I think she'd have been better advised to leave well alone. Xx
