Is anyone from Dorset on here and if so can you recommend somewhere to get fitted?! There aren't any bravissimo or boux ave nearby and much as i don't really want to go to a dept. store looks like I'll have to! I've even tried googling lingerie shops but all we seem to have round here is ruddy Ann summers! shrug just wanted to quickly pop in somewhere without having to drive too far before the weekend and get at least one bra!

i'm sorry i can't help on the area, but do you have a house of fraser near you? the one near me in london has a large lingerie department, so i assume they'll do fittings as well?

Using a tape measure is fine to get the band measurement, if only for a kicking off point. Its if they measure you and add the 4 thats wrong. I went to house of fraser for a shock absorber, and while they measured my chest to give me the 32, she just went "um, start with a D and work around it", no help, no fitting.

I didn't have anything local either chick but have to say my local Debenhams were fantastic! Not a tape measure in sight and when i was taken into the fitting room by a young girl, i told her it was my first fitting after my BA... She stopped straight away and asked if i would mind popping back in 20 minutes as they like the manager to do the fittings with new boobs.
When i went back she kept telling me how great they looked which is always a bonus :D x
