Nipple low and pointing downwards
Hi,
I had surgery three days ago and I'm dissapointed by the results. The nipple is very low - right at the bottom and pointing downwards. They are shaped at the top and looks very strange with the nipple right at the bottom - on first glance it almost looks as if i dont have a nipple.
I don't know whether its because the implant needs to settle but Im having a hard time believing it will miraculously change. My expectations for surgery werent high and i had a realistic goal but the droopyness i worse than before - just a bigger version.
I had a degree of emptiness and hollowing of the breasts with some drooping. I had bilateral Grade 2 ptosis, reasonably symmetrical and a breast base diameter of 12cm and minimal subcutaneous fat.
I was suitable for a dual plane breast augumentation and had a 300cc round moderate profile gel implant.
I am hopefully seeing my surgeon soon so i can discuss concerns but at the moment i dont know whether to be worried or to be patient and let it settle down.

Hi,
I hope things are settling down for you.
Hopefully you will have seen your surgeon by now, but it is very early days.
Did you discuss a mastopexy and implant, or just an implant pre-operatively?
All the best

I did see him and he was pretty confident that with time they will settle. They have improved quite a bit the nipple is still low but not as low as before so I'm hoping that in time they will look more normal! They were just ridiculously high before, now 19 days post op they look like the majority of women's breasts when they come outbid surgery!
The maxtoplexy wasn't really discussed just the implants so I assumed I didn't need one but i think the surgeon in question likes to do them separately to limit the complications. I was told if I still wasn't happy that something could be done :-)
