Nipple piercing and BA?

Hello lovely ladies wavey

This is no doubt a daft question I have a nipple piercing and presumably i'd have to remove it for the op - how long after would I be able to put it back in? I'm afraid it will close up if I have to leave it out for a number of days but will live without if so!

Any advice gratefully received.

You'll be able to replace the piercing immediately after your surgery babe. Xx

Hey, I also have the same situation,..doesn't it hurt putting it back,as that area must be so sensible...
I think I'm gonna be scared to touch them right after the op... Lolol

I am the same nvargem I will be afraid to touch them! Also I wasn't sure if i'd initially have too much covering them up to be able to put it back in.

Just discuss this with the nurse upon admission lovely and then if you're to be put in a breast band they'll be aware of you needing to pop the piercing back in and will help with the band to put it back on for you.

Hey girls, with doubt about the nipple piercing...as my count down is nearly up,
I went to a piercing studio and was told that as I only got the piercing a year and so, that this will close instantly, I m still gonna try my luck,shud I maybe get a silicone piercing...gonna advise them that I want to put my piercing back, but I have heard that come out already all wrapped up....

What to do?? shrug

I think I'd go to the studio and get a silicone one put in hun.

If you have a metal piercing they may insist you remove it hun.

Some 'may' allow you to keep the piercing in, but I wouldn't take that for granted. They may ask you to sign a disclaimer if they do allow it because they use an electrical instrument during surgery to cortorise a bleed sometimes and any metal in your body could get an electric shock and burn the area hun, so you should be aware of all of that.
