Were you a different size sports bra to wired ?
Girls I only seem to fit in a 38D sports bra, which I feel a bit sad about as was hoping I'd be a DD/E post op.
Did you find you were a bigger size when you actually started wearing underwired bras compared to sports bras ?

Yes you may go up a size once your in wires because the sports bra is keeping you held really tightly and also once you've started to drop/fluff some women normally get bigger too :) xx

Only because I was wearing the wrong size. I thought I was a 36, so was in 36Cs, but when I got measured, turns out im 32DD. Now wearing a 32D day-to-day sports bra (partly comfort, partly they dont do DDs!), and have a 32DD Triaction. Tried a range of sister sizes in this, but the 32DD came out best fit. I also have a couple of 34D wires. But Im also prepared for this to change again as Im still not 'done'.

Mine are different sizes, I purposefully chose a bigger band for my post op sports bra. However relatively speaking I went up a cup size for my proper bras - so far anyway because I am only 5 weeks post op x

I was wearing a 32DD which I was busting out if by the time my first fitting came around. I measure a 32F in wires. Some fitters say I should wear a 30FF but I just can't breathe in those lol. X
