Had consultation, got funds - but ....
I went to THG for my consultation and was quoted £4595 and they can fit me in sometime between oct 1-28th and I have the quote and dates on paper which I signed and so did the patient coordinator but ..... Would I still be able haggle on the price and dates? As in getting the price lower and dates sooner? :) xx

have you been to see any other surgeons or are you def going to go with THG?
I you could always call them and say that after looking at your finances that you can actually go for £4000 xx

You can't haggle on dates as those dates are when your preferred surgeon is free, but you can try haggling on price. What implants were included in that price and which surgeon is it?

That's what I was quoted, but they gave me 400 off for not taking their transport. Theres always wiggle room, you've just got to fine the space.

With THG don't you have to put down a £500 deposit when you book?
If you have placed a deposit then they won't haggle babe. They know you won't risk losing the deposit so they'll stand firm on the price they quoted you.
If you haven't paid any deposit then yes, you'll be able to haggle. No need to wave money about, you just need to let them know they're not the only clinic you're interested in.
Just tell them Transform have agreed to do the surgery for £500 less than they have but you really like the surgeon they have for you. Tell them cost is a factor though and unless they match Transforms price you're going to have to go with Transform.
They'll match the price babe and WILL knock the money off.
The large commercial clinics will always haggle. They're extremely competitive with one another and will want your 'business' so be firm with them hun and you'll get a good discount, but like I said, if a price has already been agreed and you've paid a deposit you'll have no chance hun. Xx

Re: Had consultation, got funds - but ....
You can defo try to haggle by saying you were offered better elsewhere eg transform etc but only before you have paid the deposit... You have to be a bit patient aswell xx

Hi Pilly
I found that THG are a little bit funny about haggling. I was originally quoted £4595, but that included the transport (which costs £200). However it is definitely worth asking. I got them down to £4200 and I booked relatively far in advance. On their website they are advertising late space availability at a discount of £400. However if they are the dates available for that particular surgeon you might not qualify for last minute available discount.
When I haggled with them I went to my PC with a price I was willing to pay, I said £4000 and she came back with a counter offer! That was for the Allergan Natrelle implants as well. When I got the price from Transform they quoted me for the Allergan CUI implants which only have the 10 year warranty, I had to ask specifically for the natrelle's as usually they don't automatically use them!
Good luck, I'm sure you'll manage to get some money off!x
